  1. I installed a temporary cheap pci-e card in mine that RedPill Tiny core recognized and the setup was easy from there for DSM 7
  2. Fixed my issue. Running Dmesg I could see firmware file wasn't being loaded. made a bnx2x dir in /lib/firmware and copied the firmware files there and rebooted. 10gb card showed up on 3622xs+ DMS 7.0.1 bare metal
  3. I used Redpill Tinycore to install DSM 7 bare metal on my Dell R710. Had to use a cheap PCI-E network card as Tinycore didn't see the 4 port onboard nic card or my DELL BCM57810S 10GB card. Is there a dumb down version on how to inject the bnx2 drivers?
  4. Just acquired a Dell R720 and an R710 and will be installing ESXI on one of them. With this tutorial being older and the fixsynoboot issue, would this tutorial still be valid to follow?
  5. Just bought an R720 myself so I'd suggest maybe an Esxi install

    DSM 6.2 Loader

Trying to migrate from 6.1 to 6.2. It seemed to go ok but like others after 5 min or so the network craps out. Most have been able to fix this by deleting the .xpenoboot folder in the root drive, however when I ssh in I don't see that folder? Is it hidden or something or am I doing something wrong that i can't see it when using putty and logging in as admin?
