Wenn ich den USB Stick in meinen PC stecke, ertönt der klassische Windowssound, aber wird nicht angezeigt. In der Datenträgerverwaltung taucht er auf. In dem Link steht: "with latest updates of win10 there is no drive letter anymore, its possible to still do it with the tools already used for creating the usb drive, read the usb to a imgae file with "Win32DiskImager 1.0" (activate "read only allocated partitions")". Aber da konnte ich im Win32DiskImager meinen USB Stick nicht auswählen. Habe dann über "USB Image Tool" ein Image des Sticks erstellt und in OSF Mount eingebunden. Dort zeigte er mir allerdings an, dass die Partition 2 (4MB) empty sei. Habe das gesamte Image (alle Partitionen eingebunden). Danach kommt ein WIndows Fenster, dass ich den neuen Datentrgäer formatieren müsse, damit ich ihn verwenden kann... Kann ich auch einfach einen neuen USB Stick erstellen? Hatte zuvor 6.2.2.6 laufen meine ich. VIelen Dank für die schnelle Hilfe schonmal.

Hallo zusammen, ich nutze den Loader 1.04b zum emulieren einer DS918+. Das ganze läuft auf einem AS Rock H87 Pro4 mit einem Intel 1230 v3. Bislang lief auch alles ohne Probleme. Jetzt musste ich einmal die NAS runterfahren und an einen anderen Platz stellen. Seitdem wurde ihm von der FritzBox entweder keine IP zugewiesen, die "Happy Hacking"-Meldung erscheint aber. Oder aber: Habe ein BIOS reset durchgeführt. Jetzt bekomm ich eine IP, aber der Synology Assistent bzw. find.synology finden nichts. Habe dazu alle HDD's erstmal abgeklemmt und nur den USB Stick dran. Es ist CSM aktiv und wird über Lagacy gebootet. Ich habe einige Beiträge gelesen und das gefunden: Wäre das eine Möglichkeit? Oder was könnte nach dem Herunterfahren passiert sein? Verstehe das Tutorial mit der " extra.lzma file" nicht so richtig, sorry... Viele Grüße

Hello guys, i got a problem with the energy management. I do not want to run my system 24/7 and due to that i set automatic start-up at morning and shutdown at night. That works for 4-5 days. After that my machine does not start anymore because the loader broke. Happened now the second time since i reinstalled the whole system. Using same or other usb sticks and putting the loader on it does not solve the problem because the system does not start properly (it hangs on laoder-screen, LED of USB sticks turn off). Cant see the NAS in my Router settings neither in the synology finder. Any suggestions? Slefmade NAS: Intel Xenon 1230 v3 8 Gb RAM Asus H87i-Plus Mainboard

Hey guys, im new to xpenology and this forum. I was able to buy some cheap hardware and want to set up a NAS using xpenology. I followed mainly this guide: https://boerse.to/thema/xpenology-synology-dsm-6-2-x-nas-auf-eigener-hardware.2058522/ I successfully wrote the synoboot.img with OSFMount and Win32 DiskManager with DS3617 on my USB stick and put it in the USB port in my NAS. In BIOS i set up the usb device to boot position/priority 1, set HDD mode to AHCI and boot mode to "legacy+UEFI". I also disabled all C-state features. After POST the Juns loader 1.03b started and i get stuck at the black screen where it says "happy hackingScreen will stop updating shortly". At the buttom the "_" does not flash. I recogniced, that at the same time my keybaord and the light of the usb stick turn off. Seems like a problem with the mainboard? My hardware: MB: ASUS H87I-PLus RAM: 8 GB G-Skill CPU: Xeon E3-1230 v3 1 SSD, 2 HDD. I have to say, that the SSD is empty but there are still data on both HDD'S. sd Anyone has an idea? Thanks!:)
