  1. NAS 1 Platform: Netgear ReadyNAS RN312 upgraded with 4GB Ram Loader: Jun's 1.02b (3615xs) DSM version: DSM 6.1.7-15284 Custom modules/ramdisk?: None Comments: Has been up and running for 2 months without issue. I specifically set this unit up with 2 8TB Ironwolf drives to sync my family's 6 MS OneDrive accounts. NIC's are bonded and can transfer files from 2 clients each at 109MB/sec. everything operates perfectly without any modifications. This unit has an hdmi port and the bios is accessible to make and external usb drive the first boot device and not have to physically press a button on the unit to have it boot from the external usb drive. This will also keep the onboard netgear os intact only requiring removal of the external usb and a reboot to go back to the netgear os. NAS 2 Platform: Netgear ReadyNAS RN516 upgraded CPU with Xeon e3-1265L v2 and 16GB ECC Ram Loader: Jun's 1.02b (3615xs) DSM version: DSM 6.1.7-15284 Custom modules/ramdisk?: None Comments: Has been up and running for 4 months without issue. I use this unit as a Plex Media Server. Populated with 6 4TB Ironwolf drives. NIC's are bonded and can transfer files from 2 wired clients each at 109MB/sec. Internally everything operates correctly, However the front door of this unit has a small status/info screen that does not work and the touch pad on the door illuminates when touched but other that that it has no function (its a netgear gimmick anyway considering its a device that is designed to be controlled remotely) This unit has an hdmi port and the bios is accessible to make and external usb drive the first boot device and not have to physically press a button on the unit to have it boot from the external usb drive. This will also keep the onboard netgear os intact only requiring removal of the external usb and a reboot to go back to the netgear os.
