    You sure it didn't boot? It's not starting the old system directly, but some migration menu that uses a dhcp ip address. You can find it with http://find.synology.com/ Best regards, Trakon

    Hey, just made the same mistake (Baremetal installation). Got my Synology up and running again with the 1.03a2 loader from jun > Download here < I'm not happy with the required migration (DS3615xs -> DS918+) but with only 4 disks everything worked out fine for me. Best regards, Trakon
