  1. Hallo zusammen Hatte versucht ein TS-253Be auf meinem ASrock J3455m nach der Anleitung zu installieren. Nach dieser Meldung hatte ich dann den Reboot gemacht: Create QNAP boot disk successful 如需要请修改mymodel目录下的model文件后,执行 sudo cp -f ./mymodel/* ./initrd/etc/ 再执行 sudo ./re_packing 完成启动盘制作 如不需要请重启系统 Nach dem Reboot startet er dann ja automatisch aber dann bekomme ich leider nur: QNAP Operating System error: file '/boot/bzImage' not found error: you need to load the kernel first. Hat da jemand eine Idee? Vielen Dank
  2. - Outcome of the update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 2 - Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3617xs - Using custom extra.lzma: NO - Installation type: BAREMETAL - ASROCK J3455M with IBM Raid-Controller M1015 (IT-Mode) -> SAS-HDDs and two SSDs (SATA) for cache - Additional comments: Loading of the webinterface takes longer then before... Otherwise everything is up and running like before
  3. Alright first I made a full backup of my system and then I replaced the motherboard and just reconnected everything and boom all the stuff is running as before Nice! The power consumtion went down from ~130W to ~80W. I think that's fair enough Thank you for your help! longcat Edit: I also changed the Mac-Address with the grub command-line before the first boot!
  4. Sounds great! I also should not forget to replace the MAC-Address of my NIC with the new one in the grub.cfg right? I will let you know if it worked Thanks!
  5. Wow! That's insane I already ordered it one day after you replied and it arrived today Do you think I can move my current HDDs and Boot-USB to my new setup without reinstalling DSM? So I don't have to move my files to another location and then back again. Or would it be better to do a complete reinstall? Would be great if I just can go and replace the motherboard and replug my current stuff Thank you very much! You helped me alot
  6. Thanks for the fast reply! The Asrock J3455M sounds really great What are you doing with your Asrock box? Similar stuff like me or even more? And how's the power consumption?^^ Just asking to be sure
  7. It this one maybe better? http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Q1900M
  8. Hello XPEnology Community! I'm using XPEnology for quiet a while now and I just love it^^ A big shoutout to all the developers I'm really happy with my current build but it's really power consuming (~130W) and kinda overkill... I just store my data there, Plex (without Transcoding) and some small automatic backups with Hyper Backup. My current build (A old PC that's now my NAS): Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3 (rev. 2.0) Intel i7 870 8 GB RAM IBM Raid-Controller M1015 (IT-Mode) -> SAS-HDDs (currently 4x2TB RAID 5) DSM 6.1.6-15266 Update 1 (Jun's Bootloader 1.02b ds3617) I just checked the web for some mainboards that have an integrated CPU because I want to get really low with the power consumption since it's running 24/7. And yea I found this board: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/QC5000M-ITXPH/ It has an PCI Slot for the Raid Contoller and it supports the RAM that I'm currently using Now the question is if it will run with XPEnology and if it will be strong enought for me? Maybe someone could help me I'm also open for other suggestions (I just went for this mainboard because it's cheap and it sounds "okay" for the price). Thanks in advance and have a great day! longcat
