Blackwings

Hi there! I was running ds1615 on ESXI 6.5, decided to push the most recent update (without much thought I might add). Update went through and now my VM wont boot (kernel booting...). Now I've done a bit of research and since I'm fairly new to this still, I figured it would be a good idea to run this past someone before I end up losing my data. I'm pretty sure I need to create a new VM to resolve this, but how I migrate my data from my old VM to a new one without sacrificing it? If someone could point me in a general direction it would be much appreciated!
