  1. - Outcome of the update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: DSM 6.1.7-15284 (Jun's Loader v1.02b) - Loader version and model: Jun's Loader v1.03b - DS3617xs - Using custom extra.lzma: No - Installation type: BAREMETAL - HP Proliant N40L (with HP NC360T NIC) - Additional comments: Reboot required. Had to remove /.xpenoboot folder from root directory as services kept crashing upon reboot. SSH as root. Folder is hidden so use 'ls -a' to show it and 'rm -r /.xpenoboot' to remove.
  2. Spot on! Folder was called /.xpenoboot and deleted it with: rm -r /.xpenoboot All working as expected after deleting that folder! Thanks so much for all your help.
  3. Hi all, Have gone ahead and all seemed to be fine at first. Can log in and files are still there, however, I'm coming across all services shutting down, so FileStation, Docker etc all have to be run again from Package Center. These then disable again within a few minutes. I can't seem to find the /.xpenology files that might be causing the issues. Sorry if this isn't the right place to post - and I have had a bit of a search elsewhere on the forum, but is there anything else I might be able to try? Best, Dan
  4. Have searched in root and can't see any xpenology folders. Wonder why it isn't there. Thanks for the other information. I'm going to try and do a test run with another HDD before trying with my production drives.
  5. Worth mentioning I'm already on DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 3. Where is the /.xpenology folder located?
  6. Hi Scoobdriver, Did you manage to succeed with this? I’m looking to do exactly the same (Edit: Forgot to mention that I’m on an N40L). I’ve actually already bought and installed the Intel NIC as hadn’t realised 6.2.3 was compatible with the Broadcom. Would you mind giving a little bit of info regarding the migration process? Last time I did the actual installation was years ago when moving from 5.2! Anything unusual to watch out for? Kind regards, Dan
