How to install?

Hi, I'm looking to get a torrent package I can use for long-term seeding, unlike the download station package which I use for my RSS and short-term torrents. I tried to download a "transmission" package but the thing wouldn't setup at all. The main thing I need would be to be able to limit upload speeds. Any ideas? Thanks.

I was hoping there might be some kind of internal network notification option (or an option to send out a message via another connected PC). Oh well.

Hi. Is there a way I can be sent an email notification if the internet connection to xpenlolgy goes down? I'm using an N54L and recently the box lost it's connection to the internet for some reason, but not it's internal network, so I completely missed that it wasn't connected for about a week. Thanks.

Hello. I installed crashplan 'headless' and have been using it fine. Today I restored a folder, but didn't notice the destination. It restored to "volume1/@appstore/conf/FOLDER". Is there any way to delete that folder? In the crashplan controller it sees those folders, but no other program can see them. Thanks. edit - I used putty to get into the file system, but now it's saying 'permission denied' when I try to delete that folder or the files inside. edit - Got it. Just had to log in as 'root' instead of admin. Password was the same at least. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

One other thing, in the guide I used to install: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1758 There is a section which says "The Assistant should see the device. Right click and choose "Connect" (not Install!)." Your guide says "install". Which one should it be?

I think the guy who originally told me to get a graphics card misunderstood my questions about streaming (telling me to get the card itself) or confused me with someone else. Was only $60 or so, not a big deal. Maybe I'll hack together a HTPC from old stuff and use that card in it.

The N54L already has an R7 240 with HDMI into the TV (but the TV doesn't recognise anything). I'll look at ROKU though.

One thing I'd change is a better discussion on the SHR level. You shouldn't let it create one as default as that's only SHR1. Stop it from making a volume, and then do a specific section on which type of RAID/SHR level to choose.

It's a 5 year old Samsung with no DLNA or Plex (I checked).

Hello. I bought an N54L (with an R7 240 graphics card) and set it up today, and it looks to have setup just fine. I'm curious as to how people would stream from the N54L onto my TV. Thanks.
