okay, is it possible to change the synology server model with out having to format my HDD's?

Heey I'm new to xpenology, I have installed DSM 6 on a r510 server bare metal, can it turn on the Intel turbo on my xeons or do I have to turn them up in bios?

Heey I'm new to xpenology, I have installed DSM 6 on a r510 server, with 2 in ten xeon cpu's, but DSM tells me that I got a 2 cored cpu, is it using both then and alle the cores? It's install on a bare metal.
