  1. Thanks for reply, I’m not sure what happened to the original drive, It was working fine then disappeared, only thing I can think of is that it did an update, I’m not sure what else I can do to see what’s caused it.
  2. Hi, I set up a hp micro with xpenology about a year ago and it stopped booting after a few months so guess it was down to an update? Anyway, I’ve not been able to get back to the data on the drive so was wondering if I fitted another drive to the unit and set it up with a new install would I be able to gain access to the old drive? Hope someone can help! Thanks
  3. Thank you for the reply, i'm not sure whats gone wrong then as I can't find it using the find.synology anymore, it's been working perfectly fine for the past 5/6 months and now I can't connect to it in any way.
  4. Hi, I posted on here yesterday about an issue with my previously working HP microserver that seems to of developed a fault, after looking into it further the boot hangs at the "booting from kernel" stage, does anyone know what could cause this issue? Thanks
  5. Hi, I've been running Xpenology on my HP microserver gen8 for about 6 months now and it's been working fine, i've gone to use it today but i'm unable to connect to it? On my router settings it is showing that a diskstation is connected and gives the ip address but find.synology is unable to find it and using the ip address doesn't find it, also the mapped drives on my computer are no longer available, currently i'm stuck as to what to do next?
