Hi everyone, last here I posted a problem happening with my XPE, today I'm still having same trouble. My system consist of a Asrock Q1900 ITX, two single volume disks, 4GB RAM and actually is running the Jun's Loader v1.03b DS3615xs with DSM 6.2. Here is my problem, basically I have a random services "freeze". The system is not reposing to http, ssh, telnet or any other connections. The hard disks are running (by the red light) and the Surveillance Station is recording even if doesn't accept any connection. Usually it responds to ping but not always. Noting is showed up on the log file so after more than one year I didn't realized the real problem. Actually the only solution is to manually reboot the system which is very annoying. I'm thinking to two solution, I will try some other hardware' specific loader or I will try to go with a virtualization system. Do someone have any tips to resolve or just discover the problem? Some other log file to read or some settings that could help? Thanks Ferdytao

Dipende da quale servizio vuoi raggiungere sulla xpenolgy ed apri la porta del router corrispondente al sercuziim Ad esempio se vuoi accedere all'interfaccia web da remoto che di solito si trova sulla porta 5000, crei una regola sul router che ruoti la porta 5000 TCP in arrivo sull'indirizzo interno del NAS Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk

Dear all, thanks for all your posts, I will try in this days to migrate my bare metal asrock q1900-itx to proxmox. I'm not so sure how to proceed. I will write proxmox on a usb drive, is it possible to install it on a pendrive or should I install on HD? Than I will create a new VM and should I pass-through the entire HD and than format from XPE?

Oggi di nuovo per due volte di seguito. Non risponde e non girano nemmeno gli script interni che avevo implementato per controllare ogni 5 minuti se la rete funziona. Lo script salta senza generare l'errore. Non so più che fare, non posso tenerli così perché devo essere essere li a riavviarlo fisicamente

Vorrei acquistare una licenza anche io ma ho letto che potrebbe non funzionare per via del SR/MAC non reali. Tu come hai risolto?

Ciao a tutti, sono interessato anche io, sto utilizzando la licenza base con due telecamere ma vorrei acquistare la terza e non so come fare. Avevo visto anche io di quella guida da qualche parte, volendo utilizzare un metodo "legale" come si potrebbe fare? In alternativa stavo pensando di installare un altra istanza di XPE dentro VirtualBox, che ne pensate? può funzionare?

Salve a tutti, scrivo qui nella sezione italiana perché magari riesco ad esprimermi meglio, avevo posto lo stesso quesito nella sezione inglese ma non ho ricevuto risposta. Ho creato qualche anno fa un piccolo server xpenology bare metal con Asrock q1900-itx che funziona alla grande. Da diversi mesi, però, mi succede una cosa un po' fastidiosa. In pratica Synology è acceso ma è come ibernato, i dischi non girano (la spia rossa è spenta), è pingabile ma non risponde ne via http ne in condivisione samba. Come se fosse spento. Ovviamente anche Surveillance Station smette di registrare. Deduco che è come se il sistema vada in freeze per qualche motivo che non mi spiego. Ho controllato tutti i log ma non c'è traccia di niente. Il problema l'ho riscontrato quando sono pasato da DSM 5.* al 6.*. Sono cosi rassegnato ormai che l'unica cosa che mi viene in mente di fare è formattare tutto, cercare di installare esxi in modo da avere una base stabile ed eventualmente poter riavviare il server da remoto invece di doverlo fare fisicamente. Vi viene in mente qualche suggerimento da darmi per poter scoprire l'origine del problema? Dover formattare tutto è un gran lavoro per dover migrare temporaneamente tutti i file presenti. Goodmorning, I'm writing to ask some help for a problem who is driving me crazy! Since i update my DMS to 6.0 with Jun 1.0, my Xpenology bare metal with Q-1900-ITX start freezing every 1 or 2 days. The ping works but every service is down and the hard disks led is off. There is no error, no log, no connection working. The only chance is to manually reboot! I have a single volume with 3TB and I added another disk just a single volume of 500Gb as double backup of some important files. I would like to find a solution without loosing my data or I'm going to think to save all the important things on an external drive and move my config to esxi so I can connect anyway even if XPE will freeze again. Can someone help me with some suggestions? Should I go back to DMS 5?
