Nach einigen weiteren Versuchen mit einer Version 4528 habe ich mein Problem gestern doch noch mit der Version 4493 gelöst. Wieder heile Welt....

Hello dear Zarocq, thanx a lot for your reply and your hints. After some other trials with different USB sticks I managed an installation for DSM v5.0-4493. My trial with a v4528 ended with an error message, that the pat-file was corrupt. Anyway, there is again happy life.... Best regards to Denmark (where i have spent this year a summer holiday)//opowoj

Problem discription of a Xpenology new Installation of my DiskStation2: 1. Using: Motherboard ASUS H87I-Plus mit Intel i217 Gigabit-LAN onboard; 4 HDDs à 4 TB and a RAID in total capacity of 10.8 TB, out of it are used 7.88 TB Since about ¾ of a year the NAS is running excellently. Since about 2 weeks I’ve got problems with the LAN connection in the Windows environment. Therefore I decided, to reinstall the system on a new USB stick. 2. Das Problem konnte gelöst werden..... Problembeschreibung zur Xpenology-Neuinstallation meiner DiskStation2: 1. Benutzte HW: Motherboard ASUS H87I-Plus mit Intel i217 Gigabit-LAN onboard; 4 HDDs à 4 TB und eine RAID-Gesamt-Kapazität von 10,8 TB, davon sind 7,88 TB belegt Seit etwa einem ¾ Jahr läuft das NAS ausgezeichnet. I am pretty successful meanwhile: See my post from yesterday above. ad 1) I could not find any syninfo.conf on my boot-stick, so I integrated your proposal in the grub.conf and it worked too. ad 3) I have no longer different MAC adresses in response opening the Synology Assistant Search At least I am fighting with the Internet access to my new NAS (see post from yesterday) 1) I operate a Synology DS211j NAS successfully with Internet access (file -and webserver) 2) The router does not allow the same ports for different IP-adresses (so I
