You're right. I inserted ata_piix.ko in rc.modules of extra.lzma, and it detected my disks. I can try to migrate ds3615ws to ds3617ws. Thanks.

I have old machine and tried to load ata_piix.ko in dsm6.2 (DS3615ws) . but it didn't work (made coredump).. I need ata-piix.ko in dsm6.2 . Thanks.

But, you must change the partition type for usb (6.02/6.1) from gpt to mbr, and do copy files to converted partitions. I also have atom 230 (not 330, but the same), it can run DSM 6.1.x. But, I can't run dsm 6.2 on my hardware. that's my problem.

I did this work for my system (atom230). atom230 supported mbr only, and I can't change my bios setting (there was no method)to support for (U)EFI/GPT. manually I did partitons (2 partitons) and cp files from gpt image. anyway I think this work is great.
