  1. Anyone tried to run `pocopico/tinycore-redpill/issues` in Synology Virtual Machine Manager? I'm pretty sure that the problem is disk configuration but I cannot find proper configuration for virtualbox. @le.pipo007 can you share information about configuration for your image? I've installed it but with newer version of dsm I need newer virtual image.
  2. - Outcome of the update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: DSM 6.1.3-15152 (Jun's Loader v1.02b DS916+) - Loader version and model: Jun's Loader v1.04b DS918+ - Using custom extra.lzma: Yes extra.lzma for DS918+ v0.4 from @IG-88 - Installation type: BAREMETAL - AsRock N3150DC-ITX - Intel Quad-Core N3150 - Intel E1G42ET NIC - Additional comments: I wouldn't need to reboot but had problem after update with dissapearing apps and basic configuration after few minutes of NAS operating. Had to use @imaleecher fix .xpenoboot fix rm -rf .xpenoboot After removal of folder all went smoothly.
  3. @Polanskiman regarding mine disk problem do you have any idea what could possibly be wrong? Or maybie it would be better to install linux and under this os run virtual machine with xpenology?
  4. Hello again, your comment inspired me to try different USB, it worked like a charm, (not crapy) USB 3.0 stick allows me to boot and find synology at new adress. Unfortunately it's not end of problems :/ I have 2 disks connected 1xIDE and 1xSATA, after choosing "Connect" option from find.syno, I've got message that No HDD in server DS3615xs. My IDE disk is set as a master, my SATA disk is connected to port 0 on mainboard and in BIOS both are displayed as first in theirs channel. I even disactivated not used slots and play with IDE and SATA magistrale. IDE Channel 0 Master : ST3120814A 3.AAD IDE Channel 0 Slave : None IDE Channel 2 Master : ST3250310AS 3.AAC IDE Channel 3 Master : None Anyway I've tried changin BIOS option turnig on and off SATA and IDE but it's seems that none of that work. Is there any configuration that would help me with attaching HDD? (grup.cfg) Disks were formated from Ubuntu platform for ext4.
  5. Of course I am That is why I am looking for any method to see what is going on underneath if system fails to load, or crush at some point.
  6. Thank you Polanskiman for you hard work. Unfortunately no luck with this drivers ;/ I would be gratefull for further assistance.
  7. Thank you Mr. Polanskiman. Anyway it didn't solve my problem
  8. Sorry for long time of mine reply but I couldn't lay my hands on any router which shows DHCP clients list. I know that NIC works well because on the machine there's windows xp installed, so when I'am booting with windows I can connect to the network, therefore it appears on the clients list, that's why I am assuming that NIC is working fine. I am not sure if it works with XPENOLOGY environment as well. That's why I would like to know any method maybie to debug it, or check any logs from bootup. MAC address is fine it's mine habit not to post any crucial data online, sorry for missleading in that I could write something like zeros or so. I am not sure what instruction you are reffering to, because I do not have permissions to see that: Sorry, we can't show this content because you do not have permission to see it. I do have some doubts with PID and VID configuration windows properties says its's VID=2008 and PID=2018. Shall I write it as hex value or leave it as is? set VID=0x2008 set PID=0x2018 or set vid=0x07D8 set pid=0x07E2 ? I've checked all the possibilities but non of them works and from what I am aware of it's crucial just when you finally find your device. Thank you for you effort and any help in advance.
  9. I'm sorry for bothering you but I just can't run my old PC. At screen everything looks just fine but I cannot find my NAS with find.synology.com neither by Sinology Assistant. I've used all extra.lzma suggested but I really do not know what's going on as the screen display message that it stops sending logs. AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200 2.20GHz Gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2L NIC NVIDIA nForce I've also configured grub.cfg: set vid=0x2008 set pid=0x2018 set sn=1230LWN999400 set mac1=QC2A799KALF5 SataPortMap=1 I am selecting AMD configuration and I don't have more ideas. Could you guide me how to see debuging log or maybie any tip what to check next?
  10. At first thank you for good job you are doing. Next I would like to ask you to add drivers for mainbord: Gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2L CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ My setup start up, but I can not find it through find.synology. Network cable is supported as you mentioned in in supported hardware "forcedeth : nForce Ethernet". If there's something I'm missing i would be grateful for any guidance where to find answare to solve my problem. After weckend I will try to connect via com port so hope I will get some more logs and get to know what's going on.
