    DSM 6.2.1-23824 Update 4

    - Outcome of the update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2 1.03b - ds3617xs - Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3615xs - Using custom extra.lzma: NO - Installation type: BAREMETAL - Gigabyte GA-970a-ds3p AMD FX-4300 - Additional comments: Original install was using 1.03b ds3617xs tried to update using same loader but would not load at all. It would hang right after the menu selection screen. Downgraded to 6.1.7 DS3617xs then migrated to 6.2.1-23824 update 4 DS3615xs and it worked. Onboard realtek nic no longer works but extra HP NC-360t dual port Intel NIC works fine. Long story short for anyone else using AMD make sure you are using the DS3615xs loader boot as none of the others work. I tried DS918+ 1.04b and DS3617xs 1.03b and neither worked using Legacy or UEFI boot.

  7. OMG you guys are life savers. I have been pulling whats left of my hair out trying to figure out why the web gui keeps failing on reboot when setting my network up with a 3x1gbps LACP link with a MTU of 9000. I was starting to think it was the LACP

    DSM 6.0.2-8451 Update 11

Tried to upgrade my AMD based bare metal install 6.0 update 9 to 6.0 update 11 and now it will not completely boot. It will boot up and respond to ping but I can't get into the web ui and I can access any of the shares. Update I had to completely re-install to get this update to work. I tried to re-create my USB stick before the re-install but it didn't work. After a re-install I upgraded to update 11 then had to re-create the usb stick. After that I was able to reboot and install my backup file. All the files on the Data partition are intact. Not exactly elegant but I got it upgraded and working. HO Hum
  9. Has anyone had any luck using LACP or Bonding? I tried before but had a heck of a time getting updated to the latest 6.0 update 9. Had to re-install twice, when I finally got it working right it was without using LACP.
  10. Wanted to first say a BIG thank you to Jun and Polanskiman for this great loader and the easy to use instructions. I did have one question has anyone had any luck with using LACP or Bonding with a managed switch? I did see the note about Jumbo Frames and wanted to know if the issue still remains with loader version 1.0.1 and if that would affect using LACP. I had a heck of a time getting my rig to update 9 had to re-install 2 times before I could get it to work right. When I did finally get it to work right it was without LACP. When I was using LACP it was after the initial install but before the reboot for the update to update 8. Once I did the update it would reboot and the machine would respond to ping and the services such as Plex would be working but the web GUI was not working and I couldn't browse the files using SMB or AFP. I have read through this entire post and didn't see anyone mention about using this so wanted to ask. Also I have put my system specs in my Signature in case anyone else has a similar system. Also to get update 9 to work I had to simply re-image my usb drive and it booted fine. The first boot I didn't re-image the drive and it wouldn't respond to anything and I was like ah crap here we go again. But after the re-image it works great.
