I have not the Standard CPU. I have a: Intel Xeon E3-1220L V2 17W GEN8 SR0R6 LGA 1155 2.3GHZ Processor CPU make this a difference or ist not compatible too?

That's not so fine ... What ist the last DSM Version for the 1.03b as 3615xs BTW ... I don't know a SerialGeneratorSite or Tool for create a Serial for the 918+ ...

Hello, today i make the Update from Loader 1.02b to 1.03b on my HP Microserver Gen8 ... And the Update to DSM Version: 6.2-23739 All work fine But now the question: Can i update to DSM 6.2.1-23824?

Ahhhhh ... Now ... But only for the 918? Right? I have actually a DS3615xs Config on a HP Microserver Gen8 and i think with this config I can't load the last (actual) DSM Version?

I think DSM 6.2 (last version) is not running actually with the Loader 1.03b

@hoppler and all the other guru's So if all the tests are positive, then I can just start my running DS9615 (DSM 6.1) system with a DS9617-Loader and it is automatically adjusted / changed? Or do I have to reinstall this completely?

Is there a specific reason why you switched from DS3615 to 6.2 DS3617? I'm currently on the DS3615 and I'm a bit worried about my data when I switch to the DS3617.

Also ich habe die 3615 ausgewählt ... Keine Ahnung warum ich das damals so gemacht habe, aber nun ist es so Tja und weil das so war, musste ich als das 6er DSM rauskam die synoinfo.conf bearbeiten. Ich interpretiere deine Ausführung so: Die Änderung bewirkt nur, das beim anlegen eines Raids, die Auswahl für SHR zur Verfügung steht. Wenn es dann einmal läuft, dann ist es sozusagen egal was in der synoinfo.conf steht? Ich könnte also theoretisch die Platten aus einer rausnehmen die SHR wirklich unterstützt und sie in eine einbauen die es nicht unterstützt und es würde trotzdem laufen? Du hast vollkommen Recht, meine Terminalkentnisse sind eher rudimentär ... Hab da bei der Ausbildung immer die Kreide geholt Dafür war ich bei Logik immer mit dabei und verstehe wahrscheinlich (zumindest bilde ich es mir ein) genau was du vorhast bzw. was dein Lösungsansatz bewirkt. Logisch wäre das das beste was man machen kann. Der Loader prüft immer was in der synoindo.conf drinnen steht, gleicht ab was er reinschreiben soll und im "FindeIchNichtFall" schreibt er es wieder rein. Das funktioniert solange wie der "Befehl" von Synology auch selber verwendet wird. Wenn die was ändern dann ist Schluß. Aber das sollte ja nicht andauernd passieren. Also: Top Idee Nur in der Umsetzung hapert es bei mir ... Zumal ich nichtmal Linux habe .... Hier ist an allen technischen Geräten ein Apfel dran. Außer der Server, der ein HP Gen8 ist.

Ok ... Das hat geklappt. Hätte die Datei zwar lieber auf meinem Desktop gesichert, aber das ist ja schonmal ein Anfang Was ist jetzt mit der SHR Funktionalität?

Beim aktuellen Update auf die DSM 6.1.4-15217 Update 4 wird ja laut den Berichten die Synoinfo.conf verändert bzw. zurückgesetzt, oder wie auch immer man es bezeichnen mag. Ich habe in meiner aktuellen Synoinfo.conf SHR angeschaltet und alle 4 Platten sind da drinnen. 1.) Wenn ich jetzt Update und dieser Eintrag verschwindet, startet dann meine HP Gen8 noch? 2.) Und wenn ja, läuft SHR dann noch und was passiert wenn nicht? 3.) Wie kann ich die Datei vor dem ersten Restart durch meine gesicherte ersetzen? Leider habe ich es nicht geschafft mit: admin@DSM:/etc.defaults$ cp synoinfo.conf /Users/CrazyCreator/Desktop cp: cannot create regular file ‘/Users/CrazyCreator/Desktop’: No such file or directory die Datei auf meinen Desktop zu kopieren. Auch in einen Ordner auf der DSM klappt nicht.
