Normalement elle doit car je l'ai vu sur une des release notes de Trantor. Mais pour tout te dire je n'ai mm pas testé, je suis branché sur la PCI Intel.
Il faudrait prendre le temps de tester.

Moi je suis en 4.3 beta7 fonctionnel mais je n'ai rien testé de spécial. Mes services "critiques" sont sur une autre machine: accès depuis l'extérieur, base SQL etc...
Je manque cruellement de temps.

OS Synology occupe moins de 400Mo une fois installé sur un disque.
Le NAS Synology est capable de reconnaître "ses disques". Mais si tu attaches en SATA un disque qui n'a pas été formaté par un NAS Syno. Il ne le reconnaitra pas et la seule option qu'il te proposera sera le formatage.
Par contre tu peux faire l'essai avec une VM en branchant en USB un de tes disques. Tu verras bien si tu as accès à tes données.

Non tu ne peux pas faire la mise à jour ainsi.
Il te faut mettre à jour le bootloader de ta clé pour pouvoir faire la mise à jour.

Il faudrait partir sur une solution à base de Celeron G1620 (1155) ou G1820 (1150).
Je ne vois pas de raison pour que ce ne soit pas compatible.

Tu peux regarder du côté des chipset A88X de chez AMD en socket FM2+ = 60€
- format micro-ATX
- peu chère
- jusqu'à 8 ports SATA embarqués
+ Atlon A4-4000 (2 coeurs 3GHz + controleur graphique intégré) = 35€
+ une barette de 4Go = 33€
+ alim 360W gold de chez LDLC (Seasonic) = 45€
+ une carte PCI Intel Gigabit ethernet = 28€
C'est ce que j'ai: fonctionnel, suffit largement et bon marché. Je n'ai pas encore tout testé en profondeur mais pas de mauvaise surprise.
La config actuelle contient 8HDD réparti en 3 volumes différents: RAS

Avais tu vu ces infos et fichiers? Je pense qu'il faut que tu configures un bridge au niveau de ta connection réseau avec une adresse MAC personnaliser dans ta VM.
Si on se réfère à une installation sur VirtualBox pour exemple:

Il semblerait bien qu'il y a un problème avec le checksum du serial et des adresses MACs. Je ne sais pas si c'est normal ou pas. Moi je ne l'utilise pas sur une VM je l'utilise en dur.
Mais il y a peut être aussi quelque chose à faire au niveau du vender file?

Si ça se trouve ton NAS ne finit pas son initialisation.
Il faudrait éplucher ce qui défile à l'écran sur ta machine virtuelle.
Tu as peut être un pb de compatibilité, un message d'erreur ou autre.

I'm not a professional about XPEnology but here is some thoughts about this:
On one hand, the OS from Synology is not designed for supporting all the hardware existing on the market. I think that synos are based on few different hardware configurations. So in order to be able to support all our hardware configurations many hardware drivers need to be added.
On the other hand, perhaps there are some new security features added by Synology to avoid this new 5.x to be used on other config than their own.
And a lot of other things to do, fix or adapt!

A mon avis, l'impact n'est pas majeur étant donné qu'elle sert juste au démarrage.
Au pire ton NAS prendra 30 secondes de plus pour démarrer. Mais étant donné que les redémarrages sont rares à mon sens sur un NAS. L'impact est moindre.
Le risque est que si la clé a bien vécu, tu risques d'avoir des problèmes de corruption de données et il te faudra reflasher ta clé.

I got mac to change successfully but having trouble with serial #. When i try inputting my serial # into the excel file, it tells me the cell is protected and cannot be edited. Can someone please help?
Not sure I'm right.
But If I understand well the Excel file is used to generate the "new serial" linked to your real MAC adresses. You will have to use it as an imput to update your serial.
So for me it's not an issue.

Do you know also, if the AMD A88X (Bolton D4) chipset is supported?
Yesterday I received an A88X motherboard. It's the FM2A88M Extreme4+ from ASRock (8 SATA 3 ports).
I performed a quick test with 4 HDDs attached the motherboard controller on port 1 to 4.
The installation of XPEnology DS3612xs DSM 4.3 build 3810++ (repack v1.0) was sucessful.
The disk were recognized without any issue.
The test was performed with an Intel Pro1000 PCIEx1 NIC. But I saw somewhere in the release note of a XPE version that the onboard Realtek Atheros AR8171 is also managed. I will check later.

Is the support of A85X (Hudson D4) AMD chipset planned?
It could be very interesting, because some motherboards based on this chipset have a lot of SATA ports. They are also not too expensive.
