Hi Guys! First off all sorry my probably bad english. I have an hp gen8 and trying to install dsm 6.2, have done everything with mac vid and pid but only thing I see when it starts is hdd is missing. Have tried to follow som intstructions on this forum but nothing helps. Hopefully there is someone who have an answer:). Kind regars.

Have an hp Gen8 and trying to update from 6.1.6 to 6.2 but I get no hdd found what to do. Usb prepared with vid pid ya everything. Please help what to do.

Trying to update the version 5.0 via the control panel to / DSM update exactly according to these instructions ============================================================================================================ 1. First check if you're able to download update 3 from the GUI (Control Panel , DSM Update) - Download the update. - 1st . If not able to download , connect / login with putty / telnet ( user: root) - 1b. Remove / autoupd@te.info (rm / autoupd@te.info ) - 1c. Hello! First want to apologize for my bad English. I would need some help from you. I have installed DSM 5.0 (xpenology) and I have made backup of all the settings I had on 4.2 and this I would like to transfer to 5.0 but can not find anywhere in the 5.0 version, hope you understand what I mean.
