Ive asked the same question and still havent got a response. Im begingin to wonder if people just install one version and stick to it forever.

Hi, can anyone help me. I have search the forum and havent been able to find an answer. I have an existing installation of Synology DS4.2 on my N54L and want to update to the latest Trantor 4.3-3827. im i right in saying that all i do is put the .img onto a usb stick then boot it up and update by installing the 4.3-3827 .pat file? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

If i write the image onto the usb stick and boot it up then install the .Pat over my existing 4.3 install will it wipe my configurations? Is this the way to upgrade the system? Any can help is much appreciated.
