Guide: Change serial number and MAC address

Hello, i have tried to change my MAC Adress an the Serial Number with the sheet. After i will reboot the Synology, i checked the changes via the Synology Assist. The Serial has been changed but the MAC Adress is always the same as bevor (my real one). What did i wrong? Update: Solved! THX -

Hello, i have the same issue and a question because eveything is not 100% clear for me. Do i have to reinstall the whole 4.3 DSM paket or is it ok that i do just the update from version 2 to version 4? Thanks for your help
