It wasnt in the mod folder at all. I just pulled from lzma and copied to diskstation then via cmd cp to mod folder and loaded it.
69 didnt work for me, loaded but diskstation was not reachable
-
some things get lost in config Polanskiman

Dont know why is wasnt in modules, Just Copied to it and it was fine.
It may have tried the 69 ko and that has illegal character

Realtek 8111E load r8168.ko vs 69

-
had to load r8168 manually for some reason?

If you're using Jun's 1.0.2a2 loader it's pretty safe to update to U4. So far going from no update all the way to U4 has caused no issues for me.
Not true as update will mess with drivers

https://www.samba.org/samba/security/CVE-2017-7494.html
Also it's not wanna cry its an old bug that could be used with other exploits
-
But if you can not upgrade to the latest versions of Samba immediately, you can work around the vulnerability by adding the following line to your Samba configuration file smb.conf:
nt pipe support = no

LAG is issue for VMM, was kinda stated in help file at one time.

So i am now running untangle in VDSM beta 2 (think about it) routed all machines virtual. I also put a virtual 2008r2 online

telling that DSM 6.1 is for FS3017 but FS2017 is 6.1.1

I have compiled a few more network modules and firmwares. This is for loader v1.02a (3615xs only) (see below for details). Compilation was done with DSM 6.1 source code and tool chain.
3com is most excellent choice

3617xs works fine for me.
Please elaborate
-
Think we have translation issue.

damn, after running a bit. I rebooted and got bad superblock on perc 6i. Panic.
It did rebuild on next boot, but something is not happy with Raid.
-
it will run 8 cores of that cpu
-
You said you "injected" broadcom. Do you mean you used the ramdisk I posted here or did you do something else?
I did not use the ramdisk. Just the pre compiled file. I need to pull source for nic/raid and compile.
Raid booted bad after a day with bad super.
-
Is a source file missing to compile for more cores?
Ive seen it mentioned here but never found a thread where someone tried to do it.
-
6.1.1 was available in all their repositories yesterday and 6.1.1 was being proposed within DSM update settings.
This means Synology has removed those updates most certainly because they had some bug and they didn't want the update to spread any further.
Still Shows in VDSM's. Guess they goofed big
-
Please send logs when all above is corrected.
I put logs up but gave up on v1.02a2 ds3617xs. I dont think juns patch for it is working just yet.
Rolled back to 1.02a ds3615xs with injected broadcom
