Die Synology-Software würde ich gerne auf einer SSD installieren, die ich an den ODD Port angeschlossen habe. Im BIOS ist diese SSD sichtbar. Bei der Installation steht die SSD dann nicht zur Verfügung. Woran kann das liegen?

I have also tested a EXT4 harddrive and had no problems with this disk. So i only have problems with HFS+ since ExFAT is not supported at all.

My system: N40L with DSM 4.3-3810 Update 4 (Installed with USB-Stick at internal interface) BIOS patched (http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f1 ... st21503128) Connecting a USB-HDD leads always to a system crash! Why? I have tested 2 different types of HDDs (HFS+ and ExFAT). Both are totally fine when connected to my MacBook.

N40L mit DSM 4.3-3810 U4 BIOS ist gepatcht (http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f1 ... st21503128) Der Anschluss einer USB-Festplatte führt bei mir IMMER zu einem Absturz des Systems. Ich habe schon 2 verschiedene Festplatten (HFS+ und ExFAT) gestestet. Beide Platten laufen an meinem MAC einwandfrei. Die DiskStation Software ist über den internen USB-Anschluss mit einem USB-Stick installiert. Woran kann das liegen? Muss ich im BIOS Änderungen vornehmen?
