  1. Awesome, thanks for that! I searched this thread but couldn't find anything to do with SHR. Have modified the conf file and new array is building right now
  2. Hi, I managed to get 1.02b and 6.1.4 working well on a HP N36L microserver. I needed to use a supported NIC but otherwise it went smoothly, thanks to the developers! The only thing I've found is that there is no option for SHR or SHR2 when building an array. I just get the options for RAID 0,1,5,6 etc. Is there anything that needs to be modified in grub to allow SHR to be used?
  3. Wurstpilot, which loader are you using? I've tried the DS3615xs 1.02a loader from the Mega share but there is no AMD option and the default won't boot on an N36L.
  4. There's a few of us here with N36L, N40L and N54L that have the same problem. Hopefully it will be solved with the 2.3 release that is due soon.
  5. Hardware: HP N36L Microserver Install Type: Baremetal NIC Model: NC107i (Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5723) Storage: Onboard SATA Issue: Network I cannot locate the NIC on the network in order to start configuration or install. After the kernel starts no new DHCP lease is taken up on the network, running a network scan does not find any IP address with the MAC of the NIC. The NIC worked under DSM 5.2 without a problem. Any help would be appreciated Edit - I've also tried installing an Edimax EN-9260TX-E NIC into the computer. It apparently uses an RTL8111 or RTL8168E chipset, both are which are supported. Unfortunately that doesn't work either, light comes on for the NIC but no DHCP lease obtained. I've even isolated the computer onto a network with a single empty DHCP server to see what happens however there are no DHCP lease requests. It would be very useful if the bootloader could print to screen the status of the NIC and it's IP, especially given it is meant to be SSH'd in to.
