Hi, Bare metal installation. Updated ds3617xs_42218 to ds3617xs_42218 update 3 and it failed. It went in recovery mode.

Hi Thanks for the info. I did some further testing. This is working after a sucessfull installation "SataPortMap": "34", "DiskIdxMap": "00" But if I want to install it on a new disk with these settings, same message. Really strange. Where do I have to place 4 or 3? Thanks!

Hi, Can somebody help me with the SATAPORTMAP settings? (Bare Metal installation) This is what Tinycore is saying "SataPortMap": "64", "DiskIdxMap": "0004" DSM is found but then its saying sata ports disabled..... If I fill this in the grub.cfg file SataPortMap=1 DiskIdxMap=0C Then I can install DSM but not all of the sata ports are working, only the sata ports on the PCIE card are working but not the sata ports on the motherboard. In my BIOS I only see 3 SATA ports and 1 eSata port. So something is wrong with my Sata settings. Thanks

Hi all, What are you using Proxmox or ESXI or Baremetal? How to update the img file on a Proxmox or ESXI? I'm using a baremetal now for a few years and always made a new USB stick when it was necessary to update DSM. But I don't know how it works on a Proxmox or ESXI? Thanks! -

Hi, Somebody any idea. I can connect the CMS from the new (VM) surveillance station to the old surveillance station but not the otherway. I can't connect CMS surveillance station from the old one to the new (VM). Its saying cannot make connection. Thanks -

Ok its working. My Fault. Possible to update to DSM 6.2.2-24922? I did this and didn't found the DSM it wasn't getting back online. -

Tried to install DS3615XS DSM6.2. Motherboard MSI Gaming 7 Z97 It’s booting but then in the Synology assistant I don’t find anything. Tried DS3617XS same issue. Then I tried DS918+ I found it in the Sybology assistant. I wanted to disconnect some HDD’s I rebooted again Synology assistant don’t finds it anymore. Somebody that can help me? Thanks!

Hi, I have this motherboard (IS7XM REV 1.0). I'm now running DSM 6.1 and I want to update to DSM 6.2. So I downloaded Jun's Loader 1.03b because I'm running 3615xs. Now when I start Synology Assistant it isn't finding any Synology. The stick is booting because I see Jun's Intro only thing that I don't see is when I boot Jun's loader 1.02b I see this "Decompressing Linux... Parsing ELF... Done. Booting the kernel." I don't see this when booting Jun's Loader 1.03b. Also the lights on my network switch isn't turning on so I think my network driver/controller isn't starting. Is it possible to add this driver? Can I use that one "DS918+" I'm using the "3615XS" The Jun's Loader 1.02B that one is running for the moment without any issue's.

So I have to do a fresh install? But if I take a backup of the configuration can I put it back? And will then everything be the same? Or do I also have to install the package's manually?
