  1. For all the usual stuff the E-350 is fine (I even run a C-70). As stated above, transcoding will be the bottleneck. More general, a A4-5300 is great, higher models even better.
  2. I have this board running with 6 drives, no issues.
  3. After update my network backup services (destination) is switched of. After reactivation all works.
  4. GOT IT!! Server connected to Plex. Although it seems there are 2 logins? One for the userinterface and one extra for the server itself!
  5. Server is not connected to Plex account, i want to not rely on external interaction. I am using Synology VPN server (openvpn) and official OpenVPN client. So i understand this does not allow the app to function ? What link to use the to access via browser, as i do get a login screen for Plex.... Currently trying 192.168.1.100:32400/web/index.html
  6. Thanks, but does not work. Still client can't access/see server.
  7. I can't find working solution to access Plex using a VPN connection. On local network all works fine, via VPN I can connect to network, router webportal etc, but Plex server cannot be found. For playback I use iPhone/iPad or Android. Any idea's anybody?
  8. This is my setup http://nl.hardware.info/usersystemen/21357/synology-dsm-op-pc-nas---v2#tab:fotos
  9. Is there any harm in changing to IDE when running AHCI from steup?
  10. I understand XPEnology is intended for testing and evaluation purposes...but what would stop someone to actually use it for day to day use?
  11. Just to understand how this works; where is the data stored when installing the *.pat file using Assistant? The flashdrive needs to be removed and afterwards the harddisks config can be changed. So where is this *.pat data stored? Is there any hidden data partition or so?
