  1. How to come back to trantor 4.3

Weird.. Also there are guides all over the Internet how to access synology HDDs with ubuntu Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk
  2. Can you try to add the following line to the boot option of your nanoboot sysconfig.cfg and report? rmmod=r8169,r8169_new insmod=r8168 I think it could work as the r8169 module is for the 8169 and 8110.. Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk
  3. N54L, NB_x64_5024_DSM_50-4493, WOL Problem

Hi, Einige Schritte sind nötig um WOL ans Laufen zu bekommen. 1. in der sysconfig.cfg von nanoboot sollte keine Mac Adressen oder nur deine echten konfiguriert sein. 2. Wake on lan im BIOS aktivieren 3. dieses Tutorial ab Schritt drei befolgen. http://xpenology.nl/wake-on-lan Viel Glück! Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk

You should have booted nanoboot into normal mode, not into upgrade mode.. Anyways. Good job! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Hi, You would need to recompile nanoboot and figure out yourself as there is no support.. http://nanoboot.tk/source have you checked if the right kernelmodule is loaded? You can ssh your box and check it with lspci -v the loaded module should be r8168 i think.. This should answer your question. http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/topic ... E800D.html the only question is if nanoboot supports your stick. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Hi, I don't think Downgrade is worth the stress. Do you have any details about your hardware? We'd need more information to help. Nano boot 5.0.3.1 should have a wide spectrum of hardware support. Try booting nanoboot in upgrade mode to 4493 with only Display, LAN and keyboard connected, so no wifi or Bluetooth dongles. In upgrade mode you can use either the synology tool on your computer to 'migrate' the new version or type into the browser the IP of your NAS. Click that, type in the username and password you want to use and upload the original 4493 you get at synology. After upgrade your NAS will reboot. Be sure not to boot into upgrade, but normal nanoboot. The synology tool should detect your NAS and will write some more stuff onto your NAS. You can also login into the shell with the user and PW you just typed in. Also.. you should have posted this into another thread or make a new one, but not this one.. Good luck Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Yes you can just upgrade nanoboot versions without any problems. Just when you want to upgrade DSM you have to choose that in the nanoboot menu. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

  9. I don't really know a solution, but maybe a workaround.. Have you tried copy your files with ssh as root? cp /volume1/YOURFILE /volumeUSB2/share/YOURFILE maybe making a dmesg for more information dmesg > /volume1/FOLDER/dmesg.txt
  10. You have to try.. Anyone tried 5.0-4493 update 2 yet? Version: 5.0-4493 Update 2 (2014/06/27) Improvements Enabled SSD Read/Write Cache function on RS3614(RP)xs. Fixed Issues Fixed several issues which occurred when managing EDS14 via CMS service. Fixed an issue that could cause High Availability to be unable to function properly or fail to set up after DSM upgrades. Download 3612xs http://ukdl.synology.com/download/criticalupdate/update_pack/4493-2/synology_bromolow_3612xs.pat md5 3612xs http://ukdl.synology.com/download/criticalupdate/update_pack/4493-2/synology_bromolow_3612xs.pat.md5 Just Updated my box. Works fine. Steps I used to update: 1. Download the update file. (link above) 2. Go into Synologys Control Panel/Update&Restore 3. Click Manual Update 4. Upload Update, but do not click 'OK' right after update. 5. SSH into your box and type the following: sed 's/flashupdateDeb/flashupdateDeb1/' /autoupd@te.info > /autoupd@te.info1 mv /autoupd@te.info1 /autoupd@te.info 6. Go back to DSM and click the 'OK' button. 7. Let the box restart and refresh the page after some time. Success!
  11. I solved my problem. It was the wifi or bluetooth dongle that was connected to the computer. Just had to disconnect them. Also I managed to boot nano boot without video card by editing the syslinux.cfg. Without editing it, nano boot failed to start. This is all what is in it: DEFAULT /zImage ihd_num=0 netif_num=4 syno_hw_version=DS3612xs sn=B3J4N0xxxx vid=0x0780 pid=0x5560 loglevel=0
