Hi, I was running Oracle VM VirtualBox on an Intel Processor with this image: DS3615xs_DSM6.1_JunsMod_V1.02b_MBR_Genesys.img However, this PC was old and now defective. So, I have built a new PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, installed Oracle VM VirtualBox and have tried to run the DS3615xs_DSM6.1_JunsMod_V1.02b_MBR_Genesys.img image. I'm able to start the image, see 15-09-2018 14-24-37.jpg, but http://find.synology.com can't find the DS2615xs. Had a look in my Router, but no IP-adres was assigned to the NAS. I have the impression, that this image can't be run because of the AMD processor. Please find attached the Oracle Virtual Box log files. I used the tut of Polanskiman first page of this Topic. I'm using Oracle VM using mapping USB Drive to usb.vmdk VBoxManage internalcommands createrawvmdk -filename "E:\Users\Birdy\VirtualBox VMs\DS916p\usb.vmdk" -rawdisk \\.\PhysicalDrive2 That's working, otherwise I was not able to boot up initially Any idea why DS3615xs and DS3617xs are woking and DS916+ is not working, using the same procedures ? Hi XPEers, At this moment I'm still running DSM 5 on Oracle VM VirtualBox. Started with XPEnoboot_DS3615xs_5.2-5592.1.iso And updated with .pat files. Would like to upgrade to DSM 6 or do a new install of DSM 6. However, I can't find DSM 6 .iso file(s) in xpenology.me/downloads/ (only DSM 5). Maybe it's somewhere hidden in a Topic ? (Sorry if I did not search enough). Could someone help me out and set me on the right track ? Thanks in advanced
