  1. Im running DSM 5.0 on my HP N54L. The latest (beta) Cloudsync version has problems. It resizes photos when syncing to Onedrive and has a cap on file sizes. I've read that these have been solved with the Cloudsync that is installable after upgrading to 5.1. Ofcourse... we still have to wait untill 5.1 can be installed on our own hardware but I was wondering if there is a way to get that latest Cloudsync version and install it on my current 5.0 DSM?
  2. Nice! Will try that away. Any word on the stability of the sync with Onedrive?
  3. So I've updated to update 7 while waiting for 5.1 to get the Onedrive sync. Someone mentioned that Onedrive sync is included in update 7 but I cant seem to find it anywhere.... bummer.

  5. I really hope we will get this ASAP. That doesn't mean I'm impatient. The one new feature, not just a bell or a whistle, that I'm waiting for is the built in sync with Onedrive. Plus it would be very nice to see what the new security center has to tell us in order to get DSM more secure. Keep up the good work guys!
  6. So I upgraded to this version of the DSM. My disks have remained intact and the resource monitor works as it should again. Now I notice one thing that never happened on my older 4.2 DSM. The recent logfile widget keeps showing that the USB disk was ejected every 30 seconds or so. So every time there is a new action taking place that disconnects the USB stick. Any suggestions on what to do about this? I am using another USB stick than I did when I was running 4.2. Could this be an issue with the stick itself? The installation went fine...
  7. The hardware seems fine. The system boots and I can connect to it from my W8 PC and everything works, only the resource monitor doesn't. Which I noticed because the widget status remains on loading. The data is fine also. I can access everything and smart statuses of the drives show OK. As far as backup concerns, well I have three drives in that thing which are all configured as single disks. 2 x 3TB and 1 x 1TB. I use one of the 3TB disks for storage. Then the software backs up that entire disks to the other 3TB disk. And I have another backup running for a selection of folders to the 1TB disk.
  8. Im currently running dsm 4.2-3211 on my hp n54l. It has been working great until a power outage today. After the server came back up my resource monitor widget keeps saying "loading" and when i try to open the resource monitor itself the error "connection failed. please check your network connection" appears. So this is seriously bugging me. I dont know how to fix this and making sure that all data on my 3 disks remain intact. How can i reinstall? I tried to upgrade to this 4.3 version out of the dsm itself through manual update and selecting the pat file but after 30 seconds or so i get the error "unknown error occurs (Error no:21). How can i solve the resource monitor issue. Dont care about the fix, even if it is by upgrading to a newer dsm version (5.0?) just as long that all data on my 3 disks remain intact!
  9. So I currently have a HP N54L up and running with DSM 4.2. Now I see that you guys have made 4.3 possible, can I install it on my N54L without a problem? How do I go ahead and perform the upgrade? Will all my files and settings remain intact? What exactly do I gain by upgrading to 4.3?
