  1. It was ESXi imported to vmware WorkStation. So like ESXI-DSM-VMM-Windows virtual machine
  2. OK, and do you know why I don't have Internet on my Windows virtuals machines, please?
  3. How to create more LAN devices? I want to use virtual machine manager but the window machines hasn't Internet and I think its because I have only 1 net... Is this right?
  4. Sorry, but I have not problems with creating windows virtual machines, but I can't find the right way to connect them to Internet... Should my virtual nas has more than 1 virtual net? And how can I create them because I add virtual bridged, nat, etc... And xpenology only have 1 net
  5. Sorry but I don't think the problem is about Connect. I create different virtual machine, win 7,win 10,Linux... and all have the same problem: Error when power on the machine. When I try to delete them there are errors to do it also...I try to create image from Vmware disk and although the program allows me to add them, then I can not find how to mount the image... Very annoying the whole process and a real waste of time. I downloaded 2.3.4-9027 version SOLVED I must activate on VMware xpenology machine the virtualize options
  6. Hi @ll. With an xpenology with 10 Gb ram I try to install win 7 iso to check virtual manager. I can't make run it. I change virtual win 7 ram from 1 to 5 Gb and ever see the window that is impossible to take on the image... Any idea how to make correct? Thanks
  7. Hi @ll I installed last week the last dsm thanks to virtual xpenology. Normally I make backups from my differents smartphones to my Linux computer. I'm thinking I could use Drive or Cloud to do it? Seems are not compatible between them. I've used firstly Drive and I see there are not options to schedule copies on phone. Is better Cloud? I not still have installed because I need delete Drive and because I read that Cloud is obsolete and Synology idea is change it for Drive in the future... Any help about this? Thanks
  8. I answer to myself: It is not necessary to change anything in grub.cfg, only when adding disks, that are SATA and that they are in another controller different from the boot disk, that is, different from the 0:0 , 0:1 or 0:2
  9. Hi... I installed dsm 6.2 on VM Workstation following this ESXi explanation but importing all files. I have not had any problems with the initial DSM installation, nor have I updated to the latest version. I only have problems when I try to add more disks, sata or scsi. I thing is a problem related with grub.cfg and SataPortMap=1 in set sata_args line... Is it possible? Could anyone help me about how to make changes to make possible I can add more hdd, sata for example Thanks
