[DSM 6.0.2-8451 No USB Harddrives]

I Have a Baremetal DSM 6.0.2-8451 but recently it didn't see my USB hard drives anymore I did reinstall a few times I evan upgraded to 6.1.1 but it still doesn't see them it says Not Supported.

How can I fix this and will it work if I buy a real synology.

I tried it and it worked with the Forced mode

When i try to install bare metal on Asrock Q1900-ITX the installer always fails at 58% with error "Failed to install the file. The file is probably corrupted. (13)"

I did change the vid and pid

I'm getting errors on bare metal (using your disk image) though it's fine in Vmware.

Error is 'We've detected errors on your hard drives (1,2) and the SATA ports have also been disabled. Please shut down or repace or remove the hard disks to continue."

Any thoughts?

I do have a previous install on them (7393), so maybe it needs them cleaned up first?

It's a bare metal UEFI/E3815 board with wiped disks (smart ok). Any idea ?

I have the same even if i remove the hdd it shows me the same error

I got it working after a restart I could use the synology assistent to Migrate/Install with the 6.0.2-8451 but now quickconnect is not working it is working on a vm

can you confirm that everything is running properly? Which PAT file you use for manual upgrade..or automatic upgrade to latest DSM?

 

I used this pat file DSM_DS3615xs_7393

I wont recommend updating mine did crash twice now if i want to edit my lan1 it crashes after reinstalling the PAT file it works ok

Is there a way the get quickconnect working on DSM 6?

I edited the syslinux.cfg but it still doesn't work and the serial number is still empty in the settings

No, that is not possible since the binary files have been compiled for a newer linux kernel.
