  1. So i tried to boot on my server with C2750D4I

    here my report

it boots but nic seems to not work (nothing appear on my network)

Is Intel® i210 driver in ? if yes, seems to not work

My quad 210i is recognized however I can't never pull an ip, had to used an old single intel pro bare metal

  2. I migrated and it is working ok

Please can you provide more details on how you did this? I thought LSI cards weren't supported yet.

The LSI works with the latest loader, I have to disabled the onboard controller in order to recognized the 8 hd attached to it, before disabling the onboard controllers I was seen 6 HD and 2 as external, once I disabled the onboard and saw all 8 HD I was able to migrate.

    LSI 9211-81

  3. anyone figured out how to get more than one nic working,

neither my onboard quad intel 210 works or my intel quad pci-e ,

I can only get a single intel pro pci-e card to work

when enabling either the onboard or the quad pci-e in conjunction with the single pci-e nic I can see all nic's on the info dashboard but they all are getting 169.x.x.x addresses, except the single card which get a good ip

I tried adding mac1-mac4 & mac1-mac5 and still does not work

    any suggestions?

  4. what parameters to use with an LSI 9211-8i HBA 8 hd attached to it.

I'm only able to see 6 hd available to install, once I installed it I was able to see that the additional 2 hd are been counted as ext hd,

how can i make it see the 8 hd attached to the 9211-8i during install

I disabled the onboard Sata and now I'm able to see all 8 hd connected to the 9211-8i, I would like to enable the onboard Sata to attached to SSds for cache, any suggestions?

    thanks

  5. so here is my issue with v1 I can find my DSM and gives me the option to install however, it only sees my two SSDs attached to the onboard controller, it does not see 8 3TB attached to 9211-8i.

with V2 I been trying for 2 days to get it to work but I can never find DSM, doesn' get an IP. I tried many configurations without luck.

My mobo is an E3C224-4L, 32 GB ECC and LSI 9211-8i HBA mode, 8 3TB WD Red and 2 128gb SSD for cache

I tried disabling on board sata controllers, disabling on board lan and installing an intel nic know to be compatible, again with V1 i can boot find DSM and install, issue is can't see HD attached to LSI controller, with V2 can't find DSM period.

    mobo specs

    2 x PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 x PCIe 3.0 x4, 1 x PCIe 2.0 x1, 2 x PCI

    4 x SATA3, 2 SATA2 by Intel C224 support RAID 0,1,5,10

    2 x SATA3 by Marvell 9172 support RAID 0,1

    4 x Intel i210, support Quad GLAN

ASPEED 2300 for BMC controller, Realtek RTL8211E for dedicated IPMI GLAN

    4 x USB 3.0 ports (2 rear + 2 via header )

    7 x USB 2.0 ports (2 rear + 4 via header +1 Type A)

    any suggestions?

    thanks

  6. I'm running gnoboot 10.3 on bare hardware and having horrible transfer speeds, the motherboard I'm using has a quad i210 nic on board with the latest version of xeon cpu and 16gb ram, 8 3tb WD Red, as suggested I tried removing the e1000 module, i did this by ssh into the box and trying rmmod e1000.ko however i get the following error

rmmod: can't unload 'e1000': unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter

    any suggestions?

    thanks

I'm still waiting for the next IGB driver release. I can't compile the latest version because of BUG#396.

I have an Intel gig pro that uses the 82574L chip and e1000e.ko, would disabling the on board nic and using this one bypass the igb driver issues?

    thanks

  8. finally got the latest gnoboot working bare hardware with xeon cpu 16gb ram and 8 3tb on a M1015 adapter, the only issue i'm having is nic speed is only around 35mbs which i know i can usually hover around 80, could be because the board has the i210 nic

    any suggestions thanks
