  1. the latest one, i was able to install by editing sataportmap and idxmap and got it to work thanks all for the help

  4. anyone has any ideas why the internal sata ports on a X10SDV-6C+-TLN4F are not recognized by ARPL? I can build and load the loader, find it but every time it says no hard drives detected any suggestions?
  5. Seems that mpt2/3sas is not loading correctly, been fighting this for weeks now hence the LSI card does not get recognized, I'm running 3622 with an old build, >4 months old, the new stuff seems to have digress and mpt driver no longer works

Need some help, trying to get this to work with a Supermicro X10SDV-6C+-TLN4F and using a LSI 9211-8 HBA mode, I'm currently running 3622xs 42218 built a few months ago using rploader, would like to update to 7.1 using arpl I can build the loader and find the box but can't find any disks I've tried adding DiskIdxMap and SataPortMap to the commandline but still can't find the disks any suggestions, btw using onboard controller I can find the disks ok but my onboard controller i believe is failing as i encountered several disk crashes while using it, none when using the HBA card TIA

So here is my question, I build a loader months ago using rploader for my bare metal Supermicro X10SDV-6C+-TLN4F mobo which has integrated 10gb ports everything work , also using a LSI HBA card , no issues running DSM 7.0.1-42218 Everything I have tried since with the new loaders either doesn't recognize the HBA card or the network card How did we digress to this state? I am by no means complaining, but if it worked back then why is so hard to get it to work now? I'm also running a vm on unraid using the same img , something I'm yet to accomplish with the new stuff

  10. any idea why SAS3-9300 drives are not been recognized during DSM installation, it gets added during build and it shows the driver loaded
  11. I can install bare metal on two different systems however, on boths cases the SAS9300-8i does get recognized during the build but no drives attached to it are detected when installing DSM Drives attached to onboard controller do get recognized ok Any suggestions?

I just tried on my supermicro X10SDV-6C+-TLN4F which has been running 3622 7.0.1 for a while built back about 3 months ago, not using TCRP, wanted to upgrade to 7.1 and used TCRP but can't find 10gb network card using 3622 so I used 3617 with that I can find network but can't find any drives , so I just plug back my old usb and still running 7.0.1 any suggestions
  14. I was able to install on bare metal a few months ago, since I tried to use TCRP to get 7.1 on clean install, can't find disks with the latest , same for esxi not sure what's going on with satamap , not complaining at all, just want to share my experience
  15. After several failed attempts on an AMD Ryzen with a Z570 mobo tryinh DS162 and DS3622 been able to boot but not finding the hard rives I tried 918 and it worked perfectly haha no idea but really like to get 1621 or 3622 installed ??? Thanks

Ryzen 3900, AsRock X570, LSI 8 port plus 8 ports on board dual 10gb x540 using latest TCRP I can build and boot up but every time no hard drives are found I have tried loading the mpt3sas extension before build as well as building it straight out also tried 3622 and 1621 but every time no hard drives are found Tried populating all onboard M.2 slots as well as having nothing on them, disabled onboard SATA controllers same results booting into TC i can see the hd's sda/b/c/d connected to the onboard controller as well as the NVMEs also tried ESXI, passing thru the LSI card, same results no hdd found I have another setup intel not amd running unraid and i'm running 3622xs+ with no issues there scratching my head , at least it gives me a reason to drink lol

  22. Tried a M2D20 with a Samsung NVME 500gb using pass trough on Unraid using the RS4021 img no luck getting to recognize the NVME, next will try on my bare metal and see if it works
  23. For anyone interested I was able to install 3622 on Unraid passing thru 6 cores , 10gb nic and sata controller with 4 4tb disks , it recognizes the xeon cores all 6 and hard disk info is also working
