  1. Does anyone have saved device tree guide that wjz304 wrote in his repo? It was in the Issues section.
  2. Thank you for your work. Can you considering leaving the repo as a public archive? That way we can access all the knowledge that was shared in the issues. Thanks
  3. They are not required, that's why they are called addons. The best bet is to check manifest.yml and install.sh here https://github.com/fbelavenuto/arpl-addons
  4. What DSM model do you use? I'm using DS918+ and there's only powersave, performance and userspace.
  5. If I may revive this topic. You should be checking for cpuinfo_cur_freq, that's the info from the HW. Has someone managed to get ondemand or conservative governors on their Xpenology? powersave is too slow, while running cpu at full speed all the time with performance governor is also not optimal.
  6. I have been running 918+ for years on N3150, so compatibility shouldn't be an issue. If you give me steps how to perform the benchmark that you did, I can run it on my system and we can compare results.
  7. Is there a reason why you don't use 918+?
  8. https://github.com/fbelavenuto/arpl#via-ssh
  9. It's open source, so anyone can continue it.
  10. The one from this thread. And if something doesn't work with xpenology, you keep trying different solutions.
  11. Got it working on my N3150-ITX using your custom extra.lzma. I left extra2.lzma intact as well, otherwise the DS wouldn't show up on the network. Thanks for your contribution!

    DSM 6.2 Loader

Try and see. Install some older version and then update to newer.

    DSM 6.2 Loader

You will sometimes have to make edit again after updates.

    DSM 6.2 Loader

    Edit synoinfo.conf
  15. Of course make sure that the new hardware is supported by the loader/version you are going to use. I would first make a test installation on some non-related HDD to test everything out.
  16. Just move everything (HDDs and USB with loader) to the new hardware. Boot up, if it asks you to migrate, do so and you are good to go.
  17. Just search for it in the Package Center.
  18. You can of course, but probably not the best idea to have both of them online at the same thime
  19. 2FA is completely offline thing, there's communication going on between anything. The code you need to input is simply generated from the unix time and secret code provided during the setup process (and since both ends generate code with the same algorithm and from the same values, they also get the same result).
  20. If anyone else is wondering the same ..
