  1. Here is a link for lets encrypt dummy setup, no git, no python, no linux skill required Its amazing to know that even xxx.myds.me is also supported https://www.sslforfree.com/
  2. Thanks HTC2010, enabling https redirect under control panel->Network-> DSM works, the setting under web services won't rediect
  3. Running dsm5.2-5644.4 on vmware, it is noted that the login page is not redirecting to https no matter if the https chekbox is ticked or not. I have tried enabling hsts and spdy/3 but no luck. I realized the https services has started as I can manually type https to login, I recogn https redirecting used to work in the past (forgot which version) Did someone experiencing the same problem?
  4. Iscsi not working Phpvirtual box not working (after online upgrade to DSM5.2-5644 update 1), revert to bootloader 5.2.5592 and it worked again!
  5. DO NOTupgrade the bootloader to 5.2.5644.1 if you required these services in the working environment. 1. ISCSI - Its not working with bootloader 5.2.5644.1, the lun will disappear after created. 2. Phpvirtualbox will not start: Once you perform online update to DSM5.2.5644 update 1, an error message The virtual machine 'XXX' has terminated unexpectedly during startup because of signal 11. The temporary solution is revert the bootloader to 5.2.5592 (its not necessary to downgrade the DSM version)
  6. Possibly your IP was banned by the web interface after several unsuccessful attempts, and the DSM has an option to ban an IP forever. The windows share uses a different protocol which is not governed by the cgi, that is why you can map/view the shared folder. Try using a different IP which didn't try the PW before to login
  7. Glad to hear it ! BTW pls check your server's bios time, date, and the OS time zone. I believe the time has been changed or slower, whatever. This may affect how the one time key is generating.
  8. Just found this command, it may work without reinstall rm /usr/syno/etc/preference/admin/google_authenticator
  9. Yup, reinstall always works, just follow this tutorial and type the command with keyboard, use vi or nano as editor (you don't need SSH) viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1086
  10. Watch this: After pw reset, login with your browser User: admin, no password
