As far as i know you can download the (older) versions and compare the files. But thats not needed. Just go back to original juns loader or use, as i did, IG-88 v0.11 Here is the confirmation of IG-88 that using juns original extra is absolute fine: I used the 3615 v0.11 extra from his post: "extra.lzma for loader 1.03b ds3615 DSM 6.2.3 v0.11_test, same added drivers as for 6.2.2 like newer intel drivers, 10G nics, ..." Dont forget to copy the newest rd.gz and zImage from 25426

Auch wenn die Antwort 5 Jahre zu spät kommt: Ja, ich boote von der internen micro-SD Karte. Keine USB-Sticks oder Adapter im Gebrauch.

@IG-88: Thank you so much. Pressed "update" yesterday evening (some kind of fool...) Thanks to your work my NAS is back up and running this morning. Running DSM 6.2.3-25426 on a HP Microserver Gen8 (G1610T, 2GB, 4*4 TB HDD) bare metal without additional hardware. 😃👍

Hallo Forum, ich habe im Zusammenhang mit den XPEnology Images zwei Fragen. Ich betreibe zwei HP Microserver Gen8. Einen davon hier im Haus den anderen Remote (über VPN verbunden) XPEnology bootet von SD Karte, also "bare metal". Alles funktioniert gut und zuverlässig. Allerdings ist der Updateprozess von XPEnology, wie ich ihn im Moment durchführe, etwas müssig. Daher meine zwei Fragen: 1) Im Moment installiere ich XPEnology laut HowTo auf der SD Karte. Dies führt zu einer Partitionierung, die gerade groß genug ist um die benötigten Dateien aufzunehmen. Ist es möglich die komplette Größe (16GB) der SD Karte zu nutzen? Z.B. das ISO mit dem "universal usb installer" auf die SD Karte? 2) DSM gibt mir die eingebaute SDKarte als usbshare1 frei. Unter der Annahme dass Punkt 1) genügend Platz auf der SD Karte bringt: Wäre ein Remote Update durch Austausch der Bootdateien (zImage) auf diesem Wege möglich? Vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe. Wengi
