Soweit klar. Aber wird in dsm 7.x nun auch die CPU des MB geprüft, das wäre fatal, denn ich verwende xpenelogy ausschliesslich wegen der Möglichkeit stärkere HW (CPU) zu verwenden.

Addendum: If I generate a DS918+ with apollolake, the box gets stuck when the image starts with "Trying termiane EFI Service again.!!!

I disconnected all HD's from my NAS (DSM DS3617xs and installed an empty disk without partitions. Then booted with Tynicore in legacy mode, everything was set according to the specifications DS3617xs and generated with broadwell. So that no error message came up when generating, I had to run the build with sudo rprloader. sh... start!
Then an MB reset, then I can choose: a Par Legaymode and 3 partitions UEFI. Attempting to boot in legacy mode comes up with the terminal message "grub rescu".
If I boot the first partition in UEFImode, the 3 modes for the Synology are displayed sowit ok. Now when I select the first line I get the error message "kernel dose't support EFI" I don't understand the connection who can help me? -
Addendum: I understand the message, "the kernal cannot do UEFI". But when I generate the stick with RUFUS, I boot in legacy mode so far. However, if I want to start the generated image for DS3617xs in Legcy-Mod, do I get into rescue mode? With UEFI comes at least the choice for USB or SATA but the error message described above!!!

an someone help me I have the following error message when I want to load DS3617xs (generated with broadwell-7.0.1-42218). The loader is generated without errors. When booting becomes the selection Redphill Ds3617xs USB... as well as SATA
I select USB come the error message "kernel dosen't support EFI handover" Where is the problem -
Ja das mit den Processor-Modellen habe ich erst jetzt teilweise begriffen. So wich gesehen habe, wird je nach Build .... ein Model erzwungen.
Mein aktueller Versuch, auf eine absolut leeren SSD: Serial DS3617xs generiert, dann ein Build mit brodwell...... soweit sieht alles gut aus. Wird von DSA gefunden. Dann das Orignal DS3717xs 7.0.1 zugewiesen. Dann komm "Fehler" auf blauen Hintergrund! FRage: Muss allenfalls ein DSM 6.x auf der SDD vorhanden sein. Möchte ja bei experimentieren nicht meine Back-Speicherpools opfern. Wenn DSM 6.x vorinstalliert sein muss müsste ich das nachholen. Sorry ü75+

Dachte ich habe alles verstanden!
Aktuelle TinyCore Version mit Rufus auf den USB Stick geladen. Auf dem Server mit UEFI gebootet und mit TinyCore im Terminalmode folgendes ausgeführt
1 Befehl: ./rploader.sh serialgen DS3617xs oder DS1621+ >mit y bestätigt
2 Befehl ./rploader.sh identfyusb now >mit y bestätigt
3 Befehl ./rploader.sh satamap now >mit y bestätigt
4 Befehl ./rploader.sh build bromolow-7.0.1-42218 gestartet alles "grün"
Reboot
und es wird immer das Modell 3615xs bei der Auswahl angezeigt. der DSassisten findet das gerät als DS3615xs aber die Iinstallation kommt mit Fehler ist ja klar
Was habe ich übersehen?

Problem gelöst., nachdem ich die Festplatte platt gemacht habe war alles ok

man hat ja nie genug, so habe ich noch ein SAM1061 Noname Card installiert. Die angeschlossene Hd wird jedoch nicht erkannt; brauche ich für die DS918 noch weitere Treiber

Danke für die Info werde mal ans Werk gehen. NB so ein Intel K11 mit 64GB hat tolle Leistung und das in einem Shuttle für 4 3.5 Zoll HD's so kompakt, noch die Lüfter mit BeQuit ersetzten und fertig

da mein neues Shuttle Gehäuse mit 570 Chipsatz kein Legacymode unterstützt musste ich auf die Emulation 918 umstellen. Das Original hat m.2 Support. Im Bios sowie auf einer PCIE werden die Module erkannt nur das DSM 6.3x zeigt die Module nicht. Ist ev. die Implementation auf dem Synoboard proprioritär?

Everything would fit performance, network card, etc. only the problem that the BIOS no longer knows legacy mode, the stick is only recognized as UEFI and that is known to not work. Has anyone already experimented with a Muliboot Stick, etc.?

Alles würde passen Leistung, Netzwerk-Karte usw. nur das Problem dass, das Bios kennt keinen Legacy Mode mehr, der Stick wird nur als UEFI erkannt und das geht bekanntlich nicht. Hat schon jemand mit einem Muliboo-Stick usw, experimentiert?

I have several Clons (3617xs) version 23739 all with the same serial number in use. If I want to set up a new system that works only sporadically by Installationsprocess. My question recognizes the loader (103b) that there are several identical systems with the same serial number active. If they run, that works fine. I just tried to enter the Sn +1. Now the reinstallation works. Was that coincidence?

Ich habe mehrere Clons (3617xs) Version 23739 alle mit der gleichen Seriennummer im Einsatz. Wenn ich ein neues System aufsetzen will klappt das nur sporadisch. Meine Frage erkennt der Loader (103b) dass da mehrere gleiche Systeme mit der gleichen Seriennummer aktiv sind. Wenn sie mal laufen klappt das ganz gut. Habe nun mal versucht die Sn +1 einzutragen. Jetzt hat die Neuinstallation geklappt. Ob das Zufall war?

It is clear; sorry my question was wrong I wanted to ask if DSM recognizes these devices as a normal hard drive with the idea that I can embed these as ssd cache. This is not possible with a pci card with M2 mounted. i hope that the new Generation MB handel this als normal SATA Device!

Question: Does the ds3 617xs 6.2x recognize an M2 card in a z370 chipset (current MB) if the MB allows this as bootdevice?
A test showed me: An M2 module mounted on an old MB on a PCI card is not recognized. Of course, could not be set in the BIOS as a boot device.

The features in DSM 6.x is clear to me Vender ID Product ID. MAC. I've been using for years. Now with the Redpill Loader I have a problem. So the instructions are clear. Just one question: Does DSM 7.x check the CPU? With all generated variants, I always get the error message during installation on a blue background "An error has occurred", regardless of whether I'm doing it on a blank disk or on a DSM 6.2.x. install. I also noticed that it doesn't use the Intel card's MAC, but one generated by the loader. Can anyone help me? I am using an Intel i3-3220T CPU had to match +- to DS3615. Intel card 211
