Just installed Update 9 (I skipped Update 8) on my baremetal installation. I had to reboot after the update, because my NAS did not receive an IP-address. Now it seems to work fine.

I also had to reboot once for my NAS to get an IP after I installed Update 9. Gave me quite a scare too, because I wasn't at home and connected remotely.

Hi, I have ASRock Q1900DC-ITX and just updated to 8451 U5 and my USB3.0 Ports work fine.

Just upgraded to DSM 6.0.2-8451 Update 5 on my ASRock Q1900DC-ITX with bootloader 1.02 (baremetal installation). Now I can't login to my Synology Account any more (The system failed to perform the requested operation, there is an unknown error). But I do have a valid mac/sn pair from a real synostation (DS415play) which worked perfectly in DSM 5. Someone else having this problem or a solution? Thanks in advance! Edit: I found the error. In grub.cfg I entered the MAC like 00:11:32:XX:XX:XX In WebUI it showed the MAC as 00:11:32:XX:XX:00 Then I changed grub.cfg MAC entry to 001132XXXXXX and it works!

I'm using the Q1900DC-ITX and updated to Xpenoboot 5565, now my WOL doesn't work anymore. I did the usual settings (the "g" and the startupscript) and also the rmmod=8169 insmod=8168 in syslinux.cfg which worked before, but now it just doesn't WOL. I also tried rmmod=r8169,r8169_new insmod=r8168 The command "ethtool -i eth0" even shows, that it uses r8168 instead of r8169, but no luck. Also tried mac1:MYMACADDRESS and mac1=MYMACADDRESS (using my real MAC, of course, not separated by ":") Anyone got a solution?
