Before everything else you should test your HDD - if there are bad sectors it may explain installation issues. I made that mistake and was trying to fix USB stick, configuration, BIOS version, but real reason of installation failure was HDD with bad sectors.

I have the same problem as yours My onboard NIC is Realtek....first I have tought that I have driver problem....so I bought additional Intel NIC....my "synology" is recognized every time via both NICs....but not after reboot So I think that it has to do something with settings in BIOS (legacy/UEFI/....) Or with Win32diskimager vs rufus settings when you are making bootable usb.... Or we are doing/repeating some wrong step somewhere in a process Its even more frustrating when you already have one working xpenology (ds3615xs) so you know that it is managable....

Loaders on xpenology works/goes up to DSM6.2.3 update3....for now!

Hi guys, I just installed DSM 6.2.3 on HP EliteBook 840 G2 but after I complete the initial setup, the notebook shutdown for some reason (I set the MAC address, PID, and VID correctlly).I have the latest loader 1.0.4 Any idea about what is wrong ? // SOLVED: One of the disks was overheating...the solution is to ssh into the DSM, edit a file and restart it. or just disable the overheating drive.
