  1. There is no explicit AMD support OR hyper-v. That needs a different (newly compiled) kernel and that is not the way jun's approach works, it uses the kernel that comes with DSM, this package is only about kernel modules that can be loaded with the original Synology kernel. !!!all sata_* and pata_* drivers are still not working because of the kernel source changes Synology did (same as in kernel 3.10.102 used and modded by Synology), as long as no one writes a patch for this I can use to fix this, it will stay this way !!! The extra.lzma ramdisks provided below have been tested to load on DSM 6.1.3 (15152 kernel source available), but I expect it also to work with 6.1.4 (15217, no source available yet) as it uses the same kernel (3.10.102) as base. To check if the hardware is supported with a driver, use a running DSM installation or boot a live Ubuntu from usb. In console type the following: lspci -k | grep 'Kernel driver' That command will list the used kernel modules for the hardware. Modules for network and storage will be listed. Compare that with the list of modules that comes with the extra.lzma ramdisks provided below. I am trying to keep the same supported hardware for all the three supported DSM images, namely DS3615xs, DS3617xs and DS916+. I will mention if there are differences between the ramdisks. Most likely it will be 916+ as the kernel seems to be compiled with less options then the other two (mostly in the network driver section. If the kernel internal driver cannot be compiled (like missing kernel options) or does not work (like newer hardware revisions not working - the 3.10.102 kernel is kind of "old") I will try to use external sources. By providing the source link, you will speed up the process of supporting your hardware. Below are the custom ramdisks for each version. Modules within them are not interchangeable so don't start playing smart by moving modules between them. It will not work. You also need to de-zip the downloaded file before adding the ramdisk to the loader. edit: these drivers come "as is" and are not maintained anymore, they will get new links for downloading but no new content as loader 1.3b/1.04b for DSM 6.2 work reliable and get updates by synology extra.lzma for ds3615 v4.8 https://gofile.io/d/Ng9Tgu SHA256: 240E908200E5213F4ABEFA97244BCCAC335144E69C392780122F7186E936B26D Mirrors by @rcached https://dailyuploads.net/l5jmh1msi59x https://usersdrive.com/wxkz9j0ijfag.html https://www37.zippyshare.com/v/5TYMyoBB/file.html extra.lzma for ds3615 v4.9_test - new Aquantia driver (atlantic.ko) v2.0.10.0, positive feedback to work with Asus XG-C100C https://gofile.io/d/fug8jl SHA256: 5DF770D7D95B848A237D3D0B80E83576EA6D28F6EFCA870E548E65744DAC8B8E Mirrors by @rcached https://dailyuploads.net/i71ulbij2hmm https://usersdrive.com/cyg6a0h5gn5e.html https://www38.zippyshare.com/v/zngrYKB6/file.html extra.lzma for ds3617 v4.8 https://gofile.io/d/fS2yNM SHA256: 8FCB3E1B4EE04BF8E852012CAC90F96751E0E2371C570CC4E9DD99D3F0226316 Mirrors by @rcached https://dailyuploads.net/bjvjn43hmucs https://usersdrive.com/shrv1tf0e2ry.html https://www119.zippyshare.com/v/w4nfda2z/file.html extra.lzma for ds916+ v4.8 https://gofile.io/d/Bi4Ddl SHA256: 28FA3C9C1D93D4996D34D5A541BFF214859DDBF00F3C3F1D78E231BFB5A0F874 Mirrors by @rcached https://dailyuploads.net/b7xi7gwnm1sw https://usersdrive.com/6nmzerh4a6qp.html https://www104.zippyshare.com/v/qXSFw77x/file.html If you wish to make a driver request do so in the topic linked below: If you wish to discuss problems about modules in these ramdisks then drop a post below. 2.

  5. All went fine! HP Gen8, ds3615xs, ESX6, Jun1.02b Feedback: Great new structure here, I love it. Suggestion: A template in the initial Post in every new Update thread, which we can copy in each reply AND/OR maybe a poll gives a good status of the update sucess for our xpenology boxes.

  6. Hello, thank you to those of you who make all this work. I have two Xpenology boxen, both on DSM 6.0.2-8451 Update 9, both using Jun's Loader. One is an i3 and the other an AMD FX6300. Both machines work well and behave identically for purposes of this question. Whatever I do, I cannot find the option to make an SHR RAID. It was present in DSM 5 when I first began messing around with Xpenology, but whatever I do, I don't get the option now. Information is, to put it mildly, nonexistant on this issue. Every Google search turns up plenty of evidence that I should get the option to create an SHR in the first screen of the RAID creation wizard. I have a set of screenshots here that show what I see. Disks 11 and 12 are currently in a PetaSpace volume (Volume 1 and Volume 2), but can and will be wiped and added to the SHR if I can find a way to do it. Disks 9 and 10 are ready to use. When I click "Create" in the RAID Group pane, I just get asked if I want a RAID Group for single or multiple volumes. No matter which one I pick, I only get the standard RAID types, no SHR. I see no evidence anywhere that Synology has stopped offering or supporting SHR. I also don't need to be convinced whether or not to use it versus a standard RAID level. That's not really the point - I just want to know where the hell it went. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  8. Connect with SSH into your box, and type sudo vi /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf, then type your administrator password. Press i, make your modifications, then esc. After that type :w! then :q!.
