Может кто-то знает можно ли без проблем обновиться на ArcLoader 23.11.20 с 7.2.1-69057 Update 3 на Version: 7.2.1-69057 Update 5? Или придется обновлять загрузчик?

Обновление без проблем пройдет из самого DSM.

На шестерке и с сас проблем не было. Сейчас только определенные модели.

я правильно понимаю что на Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v2 @ 2.70GHz - не поставить?

Создал загрузочную флешку в BelaneEther, установил систему, перезагружаю комп флешку не видит, выдает EFI Shell Если комп выключить и включить то все нормально грузится. До следущей перезагрузки и так по кругу Подозреваю, что надо в БИОСе, что то включить, но туплю (комп Supermicro)

попробуйте отсюда: https://github.com/darknebular/Wrapper_VideoStation - для активации AME достаточно выполнить только один соответствующий пункт из меню патча (сам AME перед этим надо установить) да (хотя прямого упоминания случаев, когда заблочили учётку я пока не встречал ) Arc Patch == валидные SN/MAC - отсюда и делайте вывод. Если железо и модель DSM подходящее (iGPU, DS918+/920+), то транскодинг заработает и без патчей/аддонов. А без Arc патча и без валидных SN/MAC - нужны отдельные патчи на остальное. Если требуется патч для GPU (например, 10-е поколение Intel), то нужен addon i915 (даже with Arc Patch).

Since the BIOS update never failed anymore. Haven't tested the asm1166, cause didn't need it. All looks is working as before with the previous mobo/cpu. I consider it a success, except I am still in 6.2.3 with its pros and cons... Will try to find a safe way to update to 7.2.1 with ARK, still nothing out there...

Unfortunatelly is not a guide and is using ARPL, not Arc Ideally I woud like to have the intel qsv, and sa6400 should have it, right? Why you chosing this model? @IG-88 Couple of more questions: - Very important! I guess you used all the loaders out there, what is the best for you: TCRP (looks like you don't use this one currently, why?), ARPL, Arc? - And last question, what is the procedure to update a new version of DSM with Arc in major DSM versions? Раньше Advanced Media Extensions активировался в полпинка, а сейчас ни как. Может виноват новый arc. Поставил 24.2.29 на ней у меня активирован AME на другой машине. Тоже не работает. Не использую аддоны, для транскодинга и т.д. Вот думаю, может намекает жизнь перейти на аддоны. 1. Можно без учетки synology завести Advanced Media Extensions, только на аддонах или патчах для транскодинга)? 2. И если заблочат учетку, то патчи (транскодинг), останется работать, даже в этом случаи? 3. Какая методика установки аддонов для транскодинга, если в ARC указано не ставить их вместе с патчем?

Есть UKG 5-8 (Universa Key Generator) на версии 5-8. Найти можно по имени. И не включать CEP (Customer Emprovement Program) обратную связь.

Ну кейген рабочий для 8й версии как был так и есть проблем нет.И найти его не трудно. Вопрос только вот что будет когда 9ю версию зарелизят. Ну пока не слыхал я про баны по серийнику, но кто знает что у них там на уме. К примеру просыпаешься, а у тебя все виртуалки потерты и надпись за нелицензию. От жадных людей много чего можно ожидать. Вон оракл прикупили в свое время сан. И чем кончилось. Прикрыли соляру со всеми наработками. А сервера сан в свое время были стандартом для многих промышленных решений. И где сейчас все это.

В общем, решения своей проблемы я не нашел. Обновил и биос, и загрузчик, перепробовал всевозможные и невозможные варианты настроек VMM, пробовал и Windows 10/11, WS 2016/19/22 - все бестолку, BSOD постоянный. В итоге перешел на ESXi, где развернул DSM, еще и быстрее как мне кажется работать начало... Всем спасибо, кто пытался помочь!

Hello friends, I've spent some time to play around upgrading/migrating my Synology Boxes, which are Socket 1150 with Xeon CPU and DDR3 RAM. I'm using DS3615XS since many years as SMB share and iSCSI target. The idea was to use the latest DSM rev. 7.2.1-69057-5 which is available for DS3617XS or DS2622XS+. I successfully migrated the existing Systems from DS3615XS to DS2622XS+ or DS3617XS. There was no other hardware change, only used another 4GB USB 2.0 stick with RPTC 0.10.0.0 instead of 0.9.3.0. 9G Now the Problem: With newer DSM rev. >=7.2.1 the 10GBit transfer rate decreased drastic from ~9GBits/sec to ~6MBit/sec measured with iperf3. This is also recognized when transferring data on iSCSI or SMB level, which is much slower than before. Here is a screen with DSM 7.1.1 on DS3615XS with expected speed on older FSC TX1330 M2 with Synology E10G18-T1 10GBit LAN card connected to PCIe x8 gen3 slot. I didn't take a screen from the box upgraded to DS3617XS DSM rev. 7.2.1-69057-5....but you can trust it's much slower as mentioned above. The unexpected behavior is recreated on 2 different hardware (boxes) using also different 10GBit LAN cards. The other Box which is also lowering the bandwidth is using a INTEL Dual LAN X540 T2. This confirming it's not an issue of card driver for Synology LAN card. Meanwhile, I've reverted my systems back to DS3615XS on latest available DSM revision. Question: Is this somehow/somewhere reported as known issue? If yes, are there some tweeks available to have expected 10GBit bandwidth available on DSM rev. 7.2.1-69057-5 cheers Chris

I've setup ARPL right now to be seen like a DS3615xs. Is there a quick unharmfull way to convert the loader to be be seen like a DS3617xs without having to reinstall the firmware and all the stuff?

No matter what I do, I keep getting this error. I am sure that I am installing the right .pat file. DSM_DVA3221_42962.pat I thought possibly I did not have enough space on either disk, virtually or actually on the server, that is not the case. I have moved my storage for VMs all over to the array totally, so its not using the cache drive at all, that didn't help either. I have changed the MAC address that shows up for the network card on the VM to match also, didn't make a difference. I also tried to follow the guide right on the redpill git, and the same thing happens (which uses a different model synology nas). Ive tried the latest version of redpill 10.0, as well as the 9.4.0. Basically the same results It gets to 55% then gives this error.

А в чём печаль-то? В первой же ссылке есть серийные номера - они чем не устраивают?

Is it possible to hide the boot usb stick from the DSM so it doesn't show usbshares for all the partitions on the USB stick. Thanks for the loader, very simple to get it up and running.
