you need to define nic chipset Intel® 2.5 GbE and find if its supported by the dsm native drivers.

no. after installation changes are made to synoboot img on the datastore. just use freshone. or you can change to 3615xs if you want to use old disk with data on it

did you check esxi logs why is not able to take snap?? disks in independent mode...
