stelle007 Posted November 20, 2013 Share #102 Posted November 20, 2013 Hi, Thanks for the great work. XPEnology DS3612xs DSM 4.3 build 3810++ (repack v1.0) works great, but it's not picking up my LSI RAID cards 9211, this worked in XPEnology DS3612xs DSM 4.2 build 3211++ (repack v1.2). Can these drivers be added please? Also as I understand it, in the DSM 4.2 build 3211++, it picks up the mpt2sas drivers to late in the boot process, so it have to repair the system partition on the drives attached to LSI RAID cards 9211 every reboot. Is it possible to fixed this? Again thank you.
cadre Posted November 20, 2013 Share #103 Posted November 20, 2013 Hi Trantor, can't thank you everyone enough for all of your hard work. I would love to be able to use my Intel SS4200-e NAS appliance with this, everything works just fine except the PATA port (which i really need to boot from) to keep my four sata ports available for data. It uses an Intel 945GZ chipset with the ICH7-R controller.. I tested this with Ubuntu 12.04 64bit iso and was able to install and boot off of the pata port as long as the "pata_legacy" module is available and loaded at boot. If I could get that pata_legacy.ko module included, that would be awesome. Thanks again.
Schmill Posted November 21, 2013 Share #104 Posted November 21, 2013 Hi not sure if this is the correct place or not, but would it be possible to integrate the power button handler for the HP Microservers as discussed in this thread: Power off from the buttom(sic). Although what is discussed there works, the implementation uses a complete rebuild of busybox, renamed as the kind contributor that did it didn't want to risk messing anything else up in the busybox pack. If it was integrated then this shouldn't be an issue? - Thanks again
