redpineapple Posted April 27, 2016 Share #2 Posted April 27, 2016 solid build overall. Are you planning on going with ESXi?
NasMaster Posted April 27, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted April 27, 2016 solid build overall. Are you planning on going with ESXi? I was hoping this might be possible, haven't ordered kit yet so room for man-over. Was starting to look at virtualization but no had enough time yet. NeoID Posted April 28, 2016 Share #4 Posted April 28, 2016 I can also recommend using ESXi: I use multiple VMs since not every package is running smoothly (or with best performance) on Xpenology. Plex requires a lot when transcoding multiple streams and offers better performance on it's own VM. I also moved transmission and other services out to their own virtual machines due to better performance and a lot more features.
