Lucky me - a hard reboot after the update solved the problem. My HP Microserver Gen8 (bare metal) is working fine again.

DSM is running smooth and stable for a couple of weeks now, but pyload won't work. I re-actived the pyload user I gave the pyload user write-access to the pyload folder I deinstalled and re-installed the pyload community package I tried to start the pyLoadCore.py from console and run into trouples. First I had to re-enable the root account. Then I had to set up IPKG to install pycurl. When I give the command: sudo python /volume1/@appstore/pyload/pyload/pyLoadCore.py I get the error message: ImportError: /volume1/@appstore/pyload/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pycurl.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 Any hints on that one?

Is anyone using pyLoad with DSM6? I cannot reach it anymore under NAS-IP:8000. Any ideas on that?

Anyone managed to get it run on HP ProLiant MicroServer G8? Couldn't figure out whether the NIC is supported or not :/ (I guess not, otherwise I'd found it somewhere. )

Any news on the fan issue? I'm planning to get a second-hand G8 and the only thing I plan to install is XPEnology. I found this solution for the fan issue: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2147 And this solution for the WOL issue: http://www.xpenology.nl/wake-on-lan/ Is it possible to combine these? Or speaking in more general terms: is it possible to have no fan noise and the wake on LAN (WOL) support? And a last question - just to be sure - will this setup support: VPN Cloud (being a cloud and connection to dropbox, box, OneDrive, Google Drive) RADIUS server Mail Thanks in advance
