In future i wan to add in more hdd to my volume, do i do it under disk group or volume? I am abit confuse between disk group n volume. Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
  2. Found a LSI SAS2008- 8i. Support 8 sata. Gonna get it. Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
  3. Yes. I saw LSI to be supported in the hardware list. Being a low cost built, i am gonna stuck with 6 ports sata, 4 from the card, 2 from motherboard. Thanks. Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
  4. Did a search and found out that port multiplier is not supported by synology. Guess i ran out of luck. Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
  5. Hi. I am using an addon card for more sata ports. Its a syba 8port pci-e 2.0 x1 card. Model number is SD- PEX40104. it uses marvell chipset, 88SE9215 and 88SM9705. Xpenology 5.2 build 5967.1 managed to detect 4 ports that is at the top, but the other 4 ports at the sides are not detected. Motherboard's 2x sata ports are also detected. Does anyone know the problem? I went thru compatibility table and found marvell 9215 chipset is supported. Does port multiplier 9705 need to be supported as well? Thanks.
