  2. I see 11 disk but they show up as external disk not internal disk is that something special I have to do to get them to show up as Internal So these values should increment by 1 for each disk ERR_LED = EC:# PRESENT_LED = EC:# LOCATE_LED = EC:# Why is this under Disk 2 but not under Disk 1 PCI_SWITCH_PORT = 0
  3. I have this system loaded Cstate disabled C1E disabled only using UEFI with LSI 9211-8i IT mode and HBA see it load up in Boot up fine. The Disk shows up but getting errors disk is saying conflict even when its the only disk installed and when other disk are installed it shows them up as external drives not sure why...
  4. @Peter Suh I am still working on My build. All 8 of my drives died HGST 10TB circa 2018 Not sure how but the will not power on at all. I am going to take the L shrug it off and Rebuild.. 🧯🔥
  5. @Peter Suh I tried to run it from the arpl usb disk but it would not download and then after ssh the file to the disk it would not run. I think it does not have the the same TC file system. I created a new usb disk. I have not had a chance to run it. I had Hardware issue the Norco 3u 16 bay chassis sas backplane seem to have dead slot. I am working on getting that sorted... So far I am having lots of fun on this build 🤣.
  6. Okay I will do that. Tomorrow 8/5.. I am GMT -5 it is on a usb disk. Thank you again for for the info will test it out and give updates afterwards 🤞

  8. I will check those errors out and let you know I used the fbelavenuto \ arpl I had had to use the arpl-0.2-alpha5.img all newer images breaks things and does not auto detects I also added these lines and and I updated the lkm and added the misc extensions right now it is seeing my disk and my old pools will keep working it out. from linux i used lsusb and it shows that ias my vid and pid hmm odd }, "synoinfo": { "internalportcfg": "0xffff", "maxdisks": "16" },
  9. Thanks for the reply very much apricated switched to another board to see if it would make a difference but no it did not only 1 LSI 9211-8i sas and chenbro sas expander It put only 8 disk and it shows up in the LSI and under dmesg it shows up but only 2 disk show up in dsm gui. only thing I an see is [ 1.097870] <redpill/cmdline_delegate.c:429> Param #10: |maxdisks=16| [ 1.098047] <redpill/cmdline_delegate.c:324> Option "maxdisks=16" not recognized - ignoring
  10. After much ado, 5 days of fighting, Gave up on DVA with LSI i am running ds3622 with my sata controller turned off, and LSI with 16 disk use the maxdisks=16 but it only show two disk Asrock E3C242D4U i9-9900k LSI-9211-8i IT mode 16 10TB HGST
  11. Are we able get Nvidia for DS3622? I know this might be asked a lot but I have not seen any concreate answer. background I have LSI raid so DS920 and DVA1622 does not work after much testing and trials. DVA3221 which has Nvidia built-in, Can it support LSI Raid?
  12. A little frustrated at this build. i have tried the new v0.3-alpha7.img also tested the older v0.2-alpha5.img this works without the This works without LSI on the newer image. on the older image where you can chose mpt3sas it does not load at all. So does anyone know if 920 can work with LSI or if I mis read the forums
  13. What version of the loader should I use.. the most stable CPU i7 9700k gen 9 hd 630 motherboard AsRock E3C242D4U Intel i210 ethernets LSI 9211-8i IT mode 16 Disk
  14. another question, is this ethernet allowed in the kernel or does it need drivers and if so can you add this driver. 08:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation I210 Gigabit Network Connection [8086:1533] (rev 03)
  15. I am finally building the server after 5 hours of troubleshooting I have to ask.. I am using the v0.3-alpha6 I wanted to use 920+ or DVA1621 but I do not see any disk after build or the option to load my mpt2sas for my LSI 9211. how do I load LSI and I seem to have internet issue i can ping IP from my laptop but firewall wall can not ping it and I can not ping out IP looks good dns looks good and default looks good CPU i7 9700k motherboard AsRock E3C242D4U LSI 9211 16 Disk moving from old ds3615 cpu i7-3770 motherboard intel dq77mk LSI 9211 16 disk root@arpl:/opt/arpl# lspci -nn 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation 8th Gen Core 8-core Desktop Processor Host Bridge/DRAM Registers [Coffee Lake S] [8086:3e30] (rev 0d) 00:01.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v5/E3-1500 v5/6th Gen Core Processor PCIe Controller (x16) [8086:1901] (rev 0d) 00:01.1 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v5/E3-1500 v5/6th Gen Core Processor PCIe Controller (x8) [8086:1905] (rev 0d) 00:08.0 System peripheral [0880]: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v5/v6 / E3-1500 v5 / 6th/7th/8th Gen Core Processor Gaussian Mixture Model [8086:1911] 00:12.0 Signal processing controller [1180]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH Thermal Controller [8086:a379] (rev 10) 00:14.0 USB controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH USB 3.1 xHCI Host Controller [8086:a36d] (rev 10) 00:14.2 RAM memory [0500]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH Shared SRAM [8086:a36f] (rev 10) 00:15.0 Serial bus controller [0c80]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH Serial IO I2C Controller #0 [8086:a368] (rev 10) 00:15.1 Serial bus controller [0c80]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH Serial IO I2C Controller #1 [8086:a369] (rev 10) 00:16.0 Communication controller [0780]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH HECI Controller [8086:a360] (rev 10) 00:16.4 Communication controller [0780]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH HECI Controller #2 [8086:a364] (rev 10) 00:1b.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH PCI Express Root Port #21 [8086:a32c] (rev f0) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH PCI Express Root Port #1 [8086:a338] (rev f0) 00:1d.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH PCI Express Root Port #9 [8086:a330] (rev f0) 00:1d.1 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH PCI Express Root Port #10 [8086:a331] (rev f0) 00:1d.2 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH PCI Express Root Port #11 [8086:a332] (rev f0) 00:1e.0 Communication controller [0780]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH Serial IO UART Host Controller [8086:a328] (rev 10) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation Device [8086:a30a] (rev 10) 00:1f.4 SMBus [0c05]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH SMBus Controller [8086:a323] (rev 10) 00:1f.5 Serial bus controller [0c80]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH SPI Controller [8086:a324] (rev 10) 02:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller [0107]: Broadcom / LSI SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 [Falcon] [1000:0072] (rev 03) 05:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation I210 Gigabit Network Connection [8086:1533] (rev 03) 06:00.0 PCI bridge [0604]: ASPEED Technology, Inc.
